ACK! A car has finally come avail locally, same color and model. I called and the phone lines are closed. I texted, it has taken days to answer. Now on chat. Will let you know how it goes. Any ideas welcome.

I just heard back from Tesla - they said, as others have, that the VIN is a pre-production vehicle in the planning stages. It is not yet manufactured. They hope to have an update "soon". Based on what is coming out right now in inventory it seems that the more expensive models are being given...
