Whelp, so much for that plan. I’m assuming they have the car indoors because I have an early pickup tomorrow and we’re expecting snow. Trying to temper my excitement because for all I know, they never received it and didn’t bother to tell me.

Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow evening and not expected to be ready on Saturday. So, I’ll be doing the same thing on Sunday! Figure I can get the exterior inspection (mostly) out of the way and speed up my pickup on Monday.

Please say you got a red one! It annoying that they marry you to one SC, even though several others may be a reasonable distance away. For instance, I’m closest to the Loveland, CO location, but there are 3 in the Denver Metro area less than an hour away.

It reminds me of an old 80’s movie called “Gung Ho” where they were trying to hit their car quota and at the last minute, they rolled out a bunch of patched together/incomplete cars to try and meet it.

I’m a pretty safe driver 99% of the time. The other 1% I like to punch it at the green light!

My e-mail SA was near useless. They didn’t offer up any helpful information and at times was flat out rude. I tried the text and they responded quickly and gave me detailed information (without me specifically asking). Speaking of, they gave me the same March 20 arrival date for the CO shipments.

I’m in the same situation. Fingers crossed for sometime next week since I’ll definitely be home.

I agree. I finally have a VIN, but still no delivery date. I don’t know when to sell my current vehicle, what start date to tell my insurance, or even if I’ll be in town during the tiny 3-day delivery “window”. I’m worried I’m either not getting a delivery date yet because I haven’t uploaded...

Ironically, Carvana’s offer (which was originally $2400 less than Tesla’s) went up almost $1400. I guess they’re my baseline now, lol.

Mine went down $1400. I’m gonna check with CarMax and maybe a couple local dealers for a better deal.

FWIW, I never received an “expect VIN” text or email.

I’ve noticed there hasn’t seemed to be any MYP deliveries. I wonder if they’re switching to MYP production in March, which is why we all have Mar3-31 EDDs. Would also explain the “get ready” texts others have been getting (not me 😢).

If this happens to me, I’ll just go ahead and switch to the white interior. I’ve been on the fence, but staying with black so I keep my EDD.
