    Premium connectivity on new car

Yeah I got first month free on my Arval lease car last year.

How many people are having connectivity issues?

Yeah I don't want to jinx it but I've had a few Apple Music streaming issues the last week or so. I guess so many things can contribute to apparent connectivity issues it's a bit whack a mole trying to figure it out. Apple Music does seem bad at pre fetching or buffering the next track, so might...

    Salary sacrifice prices

Ok then, as an example - what about if we compare gross salary sacrifice values of people of similar age and location, but different lease companies. Could we then, perhaps, start to understand differences between lease companies??! It sounds crazy but it might just work.

    Salary sacrifice prices

Net figures have all of that variation, plus individual tax variation - therefore they can only be less accurate.

    Salary sacrifice prices

Yeah I agree with previous posters, gross figures are the best things to state. Can anyone beat the eye watering gross figure I pay for MYP + EAP 3 yr from Arval (10k miles / year) = £1385 / month. Includes insurance / tyres / maintenance (wot maintenance?!). Not sure I can burn through enough...

How many people are having connectivity issues?

I'll chip in and say connectivity in general for me has been "normal" for quite a few weeks now (SE UK). So it feels like at least one source of the problem had some fixing - this seems to correlate with these Service Requests suggesting some network config stuff was resolved.

Spotify - Tesla Account or Premium Account

I'm not into podcasts, but recently started using Apple Music for the cloud music library support. i.e., all my own CD rips, vinyl rips and random moderately obscure MP3s accessible via the same interface on all devices, including the Tesla.

How many people are having connectivity issues?

Yeah totally random and rubbish the last few days particularly, on same route I do every day which is usually fine.

    2023 Holiday Update

Although it's fair to be aggravated by Tesla's promise of features yet to be delivered, it's never bothered me so much on my 2023 Model Y as that stuff wasn't the key sales point for me. 3 cameras plus 2 wing mirrors generally gets me there for parking. I would love my car to do all parking for...

Is Apple music seriously this bad???

It definitely does a much worse job of track buffering than Spotify. Slightest hint of network blip and it chokes. Plus if you listen to continuous DJ style mixes, it pauses for a second between tracks as it loads the next one. Doesn't happen on any other implementation of Apple Music, only the...

Model Y - Side Mirror Replacement

I had exactly the same done in July. My part number was 1495594-00-A, skull cap (unpainted) £29.75, then paint was £55. Would have assumed unpainted would have been white. Would need to check what the "11" difference in part number means. Model Y Performance. Mirror glass was £148.75 though.

    Why so few models?

Honestly, the buying experience of my wife's VW T-Cross was one of the most tedious and annoying experiences. Contemplating T-Cross vs T-Roc Vs Tiguan vs Toureg, then the infinite configuration options. I prefer having limited choice. Having said this, I would like a "Model 2", smaller hatchback...

Tesla Wall Connector control via Tesla App 4.23

Just FYI, I can schedule the wall connector directly in the app (in UK) 4.23.6-1844

    Car won’t wake

Yeah mine is Model Y and 2023.20.9

    Car won’t wake

Mine has started doing this over the last few days, tried 2 button reset this morning. *think* that helped but will check again as I walk back to the car after work today.

Wing mirror glass push fit connectors

My Google / YouTube searching skills have failed me. Someone clipped my 2023 Model Y RH wing mirror. Skull cap popped off and mirror glass popped off its holder. It has one soldered connector and two simple push fit ones. I can't see anything obvious to know which cable goes on which push fit...

Help adding new lease car to app

I took delivery of my MYP via Arval yesterday. Car appeared in the app about 4 hours post delivery. I had to electronically sign a document that arrived via email on the day. As long as you have registered in the app with the same email address that you gave Arval (for me this is my work email...

[UK] 2023 Orders to Delivery for M3 and MY and personal shipping related questions

Ordered MYP (Midnight Silver, Black Seats) and assigned RN on 24th Feb (company car). Initial delivery estimate was 23rd March via lease company. A week before was updated to July (again from lease company). I checked with Tesla directly and they confirmed had been moved to "next wave" but were...

[UK] 2023 Orders to Delivery for M3 and MY and personal shipping related questions

Ordered MYP 24th Feb, got an update via Arval today that it's now due beginning of July! Hopefully that's a mistake, was expecting it in the next few weeks.

    Model 3 Leasing UK

I agree, the costs seem very high. The salary sacrifice schemes also seem to milk all the tax savings back as the "care" package.

    Further details of sales numbers?

Very helpful, thanks! Just had a poke around in the data. Strangely the Model Y data seems to only have the Long Range showing in the dataset. For the Model 3, if anyone is interested: So in 2022, about 50 % are the LR, 15% P, 35 % standard.

    Further details of sales numbers?

My Google skills have not got me there. Is there a source for further breakdown of, for example, Model Y sales? e.g., what proportion are what variant (RWD vs LR vs Performance)? Also proportion by colour?!

    Model 3 Leasing UK

Just ordered my Model Y Performance, (3 years, 10,000 miles per year) for £1400 / month gross. Ouch. Looking forward to it though! First new car in 13 years....

    Model 3 Leasing UK

I've been quoted about £900 gross salary sacrifice for a Model 3 RWD with no options (3 year / 10,000 miles per year). I'm new to salary sacrifice but as others probably know already, they are not amazingly competitive deals unless you are a 40-45 % tax-payer (or stuck in 60 % marginal £100-120K...
