The
headliner connection is on the drivers side on American vehicles. When you open black trim there should be a blue plug there by the door hinge that you might have not plugged back in
The version A might be what ur looking for. I would say that you should chat with hansshow before you buy it to make sure it’s compatible and everything...
Fixed issue. Turns out initially I made a mistake and accidentally unplugged power to the headliner. (I was following a different audio kit install because lack of instructions)
Entered service mode and redid the update. No more errors
Sooo…slightly frustrated and embarrassed lol. I signed up for Tesla Service and Repair Information Free material (Tesla Service) and looked at the mapping for the power for the areas that were affected. Not coincidentally, they all share a power harness and it is on the drivers side. Turns out...
So I took out the harness today and did a soft reset. Erased my hotspot as a WiFi network and reconnected it. Put it in service mode and tried to reinstall the software. Still the same issues the lights don’t work and I noticed that voice control does not work either. So now I guess only move is...
I’m having issues with teslas communication as well but have a service appointment this week so let’s see what happens. Has anything been malfunctioning in your car?
So I have an appointment with the service center but I’m afraid they’ll void my warranty if they see the hanshow diy kit.
Also I now know that my car failed the update. Can this happen with the audio kit? Did you guys successfully do the 2023.2.10 update? Are you guys having any trouble...
So i live in an apartment and I don’t have access to public WiFi at work (hospital), so I normally install updates via hotspot. I downloaded the 2023.2.10 update on Saturday and installed it. The screen did not give me a warning or anything that it had failed but the hazard light button is not...
Hi guys,
Do you remember if you had to redownload the software or just reinstall it?
Currently after the most recent update, I can’t turn on the hazard light, vanity mirror light, nor the dome lights….
So turns out that my dome lights/hazard lights/lights on the mirrors do not work. I wonder if power is delivered to those areas and the 2 speakers that do not work with a common wire that I used the harness for. Does anyone have any info regarding where the power comes from for the beige...
I took a the connections apart and plugged it back in and I had the same issue. I also realized that the 2023 M3 do not come with the rear speakers lol. Regardless there should be 4 speakers that are activated but only two work for me(the black ones that are on the door) the white/beige ones...
How did it go? I installed mine today (DIY new version) but there is no audio coming from the front and rear surround speakers, even when I try to mess with the balance. Although I do hear audio from the tweeters but that is not very significant. IDK if i just messed up the install
