The issue here is trip time. If I precondition, in the heated garage. It takes 26km to start adjusting. It's because the start of the precondition starts the trip. The car is sitting in a warm garage for 20 mins or so. With the ambient reading plus 10c. Then it goes outside and takes forever...

I subscribed on the way home from purchase. Long orad trip with 2 boys under 10. I do miss my SXM and find tidal or spotify to be a pain. My boys now like to stay in the car while we shop. Win win

Mine usually takes about 15 mins of 120kph highway speed to level out. All the while the hvac is not working correctly due to it thinking its 10c, vs the -20c that it actually is.

I did not precondition this morning. Temp was a bit faster to respond. I put in a service ticket, and they said they did a remote systems test and all is ok. I suggested they increase the sampling freq of the ambient temp sensor.

The Y is new to me.. I just traded in the Mach E. I've always preconditioned with the Mustang due to the small heater in the Mustang in order to keep the batteries warm. I guess it's just habit that I'm preconditioning the Tesla. Maybe I don't need to be preconditioning? My commute is 45...

Mine takes about 15 mins to correct. From 10c in the garage to -20c outside. HVAC performance is severely impacted by the incorrect temp readings.

Im in the same boat here. Temp reading 10c ( garage temp ) for at least 15 mins. Actual ext around -20c. First world problem i know.... But the HVAC uses the exterior temps as a reference. My heat is crap until the ext temp starts to read correctly. This is an issue.

So what's the answer? What's the chances this unit I'm looking at actually has FSD ?

I too am jumping ship from the MME. Actually more like abandoning a burning ship. Nothing works. It's cold, crap range, inaccurate range, garbage software and app. The list goes on. Excited to see what tesla can do.
