Dang. I ordered 2/18 W/B as well but got my vin at the beginning of March. Live in Louisiana but picking up in Mississippi. EDD was March 23rd but was told that there was delay so it’s now 27th.

There’s still about two weeks left. Still plenty of time. Had to reschedule my delivery from the 23rd to 27th. SA said there were delay in transportation.

Keep the faith. My EDD was 26-31 then jumped up to 20-29 and that was all in a few days. Got sent the delivery text for the 23rd. You’re closer to Cali so I don’t see why you wouldn’t get it next week.

My bad. Thought you were someone else that I remembered But yeah, sucks that you weren’t able to sneak it into this quarter.

There were some that put their LR order in here as well.

It appears so. My EDD just moved up to 20-29 from 26-30(Mar 6). Some folks said they were notified to schedule their delivery after getting their vin so you may be in the same boat if your earliest is the 18th and haven’t gotten the vin notification yet.

Same but I got my vin last Thursday with 26-31 as EDD so I’m sure you guys are fine. Was just relieved that my EDD was changed from April-May to the end of March

I asked the SA about scheduling earlier than what the EDD said in the app. The answer was that due to logistics, he/she couldn’t say at this time.

I would guess if your EDD is still 3/13-3/31, you’ll get your vin in a few days to be able to schedule delivery for the end of March.

Same order date as yours but it’s the basic white/black without tow. I would’ve probably cancel my order if it went from potentially from mid March to mid May.

Thank you! I’m really excited. Want to see what’s the buzz about Tesla ownership. I could’ve gotten it sooner if I ordered when the price was slashed instead of being on the fence in January. Decided to jump in when the price rose up by 2k.

Louisiana but have to pick up in Mississippi. Louisiana trying their best to not allow Tesla sell directly to customers here.

You should get your vin soon. I had the EDD of march 17-31 prior to getting my vin notification today.

It is. The c7. I installed a supercharger on it so I knew if I gotten a Tesla, it must have the performance trim. I pay 575/6 months on it. It used to be my dd so I didn’t opt for those classic insurance with mileage restrictions which would’ve made it cheaper to insure.

Gotcha. I’m shopping around for insurance for the car atm. Have no clue what’s the going rate for a Tesla. My corvette and Silverado is about the same as what you’re paying for your MYP so hoping it’ll be in that range.

Anyone opted for the home delivery or changed their original Tesla center pickup? How did that process go and if the EDD changed on it or not. My original Tesla center pickup is almost 3 hours away so if I can make the process easier on myself, I would.

How much are you paying for insurance on the MYP?

I wasn’t talking about the M3 though. Was taking about the Y performance model.

It’s probably because you ordered the long range. More demand for those so longer wait? There’s a MYP white in Georgia with a built date of March 8 for people that want it asap.

got the vin email just now. Od: 2/18. Edd #1 (Feb 18): March-April Edd #2 (Feb 25): April 9-May17 Edd #3 (Mar 5): March 17-31 Vin assigned (3/9). Edd #4: March 26-31 Can’t believe how easy of a process this has been. Car manufacturers should do away with their dealership model.

Speaking of the devil eh. Hopefully I get the vin text soon. People should expect their vin text about a week before their early EDD date?

Oh lord. Guess we switched EDD. Mines was was April-May then it jumped up to March 17-31 yesterday. Picking up in Mississippi.

I received a welcome text right after placing the order along with the order number. You should’ve gotten a text from a 510 area code. EDD3 just jumped up to 3/17-3/31. Was at March9-April 17 since 2/25 so any progress is good.

OD: 2/18 white/black EDD1: March-April EDD2 2/25: April 4-May 9 Appears Tesla has sold out all model Y for the quarter so I’m not expecting the EDD to move for a few weeks. If only I jumped in prior to the price increase, I would’ve gotten the car sooner.
