I think storm watch is only activated if the NWS issues an alert that covers your install area and it is for a type of storm that commonly causes outages. I have noticed that we can have a high chance of sever t-storms all day with no storm watch, but as soon as the warning is issued storm watch...

I have had them forever as well. Harvey flooded my new car and they had it taken care of in under a week without any arguing or anything. When I bought my house it was no question to get them and I did not bother shopping around since they had good service and if they cost more, so be it. This...

I'm challenging the denial and submitting reviews and BBB complaint. Hopefully they care enough about that to actually do what I pay for. Assuming they care, helpful votes on this might help. https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/statefarm.com?rid=223

StateFarm denied my claim due to hail damage being wrong color and therefore old. Trying to tell me that the hail that put divots in my wood fence caused zero damage. This is the only hail event since I got this house and apparently StateFarm thinks Roof Repair squad would remove a satalite...

I have state farm and my agent had to do some back and forth with the underwriter since they don't have solar specific coverage but it got added. Cloud 9 Roofing Owner is in a local club I'm in and he has done roofs for several members and they all recommend him. I forget the specifics but I...

Yeah, it is shingles not covered by panels that got damaged. Stuff under the panels never got touched but my understanding is that if more than a certain percentage needs fixing insurance does the whole roof as it is better for them to prevent future leak claims. The panels themselves still...

Roof has significant damage. I know a guy with a roofing company and they handle insurance and what have you. He's going to handle the claim process, then pull the panels, re-roof, and put panels back up.

Solar panels look fine and production looks to be the same. Have a roofer checking the shingles on Monday.

Got some hail yesterday so I guess I get to see how well solar stands up to it... This is after it melted a bit and the stuff falling got small enough for me to trust a cookie sheet head shield.

I'm in Katy, made 47.3kWh yesterday and Aug 2022 I made 1,598.2 kWh. July was better with 1,831.4kWh and May was best with 1,919.6kWh. Should help you get an idea of what decrease we get due to heat. Aug does look like it had cloudy days though and July looks like it only had one day that had...

No problem. It is a decent cleaning brush. Connections to the brush head could be better, I don't know how though, and the clamping levers to lock the length are good enough, but just barely.

This is just the panels on the back of the house. I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08WZKL85P with: https://www.amazon.com/Gardena-Product-End-Connector/dp/B000NBEF7K I should have gotten the shorter version and the non-kit since with the hose adapter I didn't need the kit part of it. I...

Thank you. I doubled checked and it was actually 64kWh and 64.7kWh. So it looks like the heat caused you a 5.8% decrease and if I had the same decrease I should have made 60.3kWh but actually made 64.7kWh due to cleaning the panels for an increase of about 7.3%. I got the panels installed in Aug...

@Jones1 Do you have Saturdays production? I cleaned my panels early Saturday morning and did not see much of an improvement so was wondering if lack of wind lowered production. I had 60kWh Fri and 60.7kWh Sat.
