I heard that a CAC imbalance can’t be corrected, only a BMS imbalance. I don’t know if what I read was a reliable source however

Good post, I agree with most of what you wrote. They dropped my charges from 800 down to 450 for the 12v battery plus labor. Perhaps I will take my car back and just hope the battery completely fails before my warranty expires in 12 months.

I’ve had the same thing happen to me and I made a post about it. I drive a 2025 p90d with ludicrous and 270,000 miles. Tesla service told me there was a CAC imbalance and that it’s not covered by my 8 year unlimited mile warranty

It was mostly for labor because I have an after market front bumper (so it looks like newer model s instead of with nose cone)

Yes thank you. I wrote that because I read the thread you linked and saw several people justifying the vehicle running out of range instead of providing valuable input to the poster
