my sc said to come back if i can prove my issue is repeatable of loud ringing only during first 20 minutes of driving/warmup, im just to busy to make an appointment with work plus im already suing them tminus 1.5 months until refund

I'm on the same boat it keeps getting worse with each 100 miles I drive. They had engineering review audio clips, a local "pro" come look at it, and decided to cancel my front DU from being replaced as the noise is NORMAL. Within the next month I'll have a court date if they don't settle early.

Idk what Tesla did, but they made my car even worse after their last inspection. There's a constant 4 khz noise while driving now, on top of the faint 11 khz noise. This is insane, and they told me it's all normal.

MN Lemon law, requires min. of 4 repair attempts for same issue and issue has to have X amount of impact on car's value, safety, or use. My lawyer said he wins 100% of his Tesla Lemon Law Claims, so I'd be his first to lose. edit: they changed their minds because they think 11 khz noise is...

UPDATE: Tesla changed their mind and said I will not be getting a new drive unit after I got it inspected at the Rogers MN SC earlier this week. After I sue them, I'm done with Tesla.

same experience again this week, except they made the noise even worse somehow without even touching it. I'm wondering if it's from my A/C running but now there's a lower pitched noise that covers up the high pitched noise. I get my Front Drive Unit replaced on Friday by the good guy SC in Eden...

Did they give you the full price back? Or did you end up losing money?

@ev_go123 I did it! I went to a SC an hour away and they diagnosed my ringing issue as a faulty front drive unit. I can now sue Tesla into oblivion :D

Not sure if I responded yet, but the specialist who covers the Dakotas, MN, Iowa, and Wisconsin said it's all normal and that they barely heard it. Of course when I drove it home the noise was present the entire trip while over 30 mph. It's the line around 10 kHz.

Yes, the noise was not present during the drive.

Nothing yet, but their Lawyers argued the noise should not be covered by warranty and that it doesn't detract the cars safety, value, or use. Please help me with rebuttal points.

@everyone I need your help to defeat Tesla's Lawyers. They argue the noise we are hearing (high pitch noise from 40-70 mph) is not covered by the warranty, and that it is my responsibility to prove it is a defect. Further, the engineers and SC argue it's normal. How should I phrase my rebuttal?

My Tesla makes a ringing noise at this frequency, and I'm pretty sure it's from the front. I have a specialist looking at it tomorrow otherwise it's getting lemon'd.

I filed a lemon law on it and Tesla sent a specialist to come check out the car. Engineering said the noise is normal twice, but on Monday the specialist will decide. Either way I'm going to pursue a buyback.

my SC said it's like difficult for that blue seal to be installed wrong and they looked at it and said yeah it's fine, but I think they are full of it.

bruh after the 3rd visit they told me to stop coming back. I'm going to go in for a fourth today hehe
