I've noticed some slight boominess in our MYLR. Mostly on impacts from potholes or bumps. I don't think ours has anything to do with the hatch. I think it's a side effect of the high tire pressures you have to run in these things.
I have a 2020 Civic Type R and just got a 2022 MYLR. I love the Tesla, but you will have to pry that Civic from my cold dead hands. That car is sublime.
