The website says opening in November now instead of just opening soon. Besides that I haven’t seen any updates.

They posted a picture on their instagram a few days ago showing the inside. But still a bit of interior work and furnishing to be done. I would guess sometime in October at the earliest. Assuming they are waiting for the coffee shop to be done to turn on the Superchargers

Has anyone been by this location in the last 2 weeks since the last update ? Just curious how close we might be getting to opening. If not I can pass by on Sunday

Looks like framing from a building is up at the Supercharger location since the last time I went. Quick search on permit records show it might be a small restaurant/ coffee shop.

I am local to Las Cruces so hopefully will not have to use the Supercharger often, but I do follow your points regarding the location. I was hoping a Supercharger location would eventually be built in a convenient location near shopping / restaurants. Considering how long this location has been...

That would be amazing. I am actually in Carlsbad right now but still too nervous to try the trip in my Model 3 LR. It’s not convenient to stop at the RV park or a McDonald’s for a few hours

I have been checking on the inspection status updates but hadn’t driven by there yet. That’s amazing that there is active work being done now. Can’t wait for this to open !

Thanks a lot for all the work you have done getting chargers hooked up in SE NM. I am a new model 3 owner who lives in Las Cruces but travels frequently to Carlsbad to visit family. Do you have any plans to add more locations or additional chargers at the Carlsbad McDonald’s location ...
