PW+ Grid Charging with 100amp Service

Thanks everyone. I have CTs on my AC so the PW can see the entire site load. My solution for now is to limited site import to 80A. It’s a conservative number but should be adequate for my needs. I have confirmed that I can reproduce the results consistently. When the following conditions are...

PW+ Grid Charging with 100amp Service

Can you explain in layman’s terms? I’m encouraged by what you wrote but don’t understand. What I have is as follows: 125amp service in a combo meter with two breakers. 70 amp breaker goes to AC, 100amp breaker goes to the rest of my loads and PW. So is putting >90amps on my 100amp breaker...

PW+ Grid Charging with 100amp Service

PW+ Grid Charging with 100amp Service

charging model 3 in self powered mode without draining powerwalls?

Try the ChargeHQ app. I've been using it for two weeks to maximize charging with excess solar. It can help you accomplish a lot of what you want as wait for an official Tesla solution. It won't perfectly solve for draining your PW at night, but if configured properly will ensure you only drain...

PW+ Grid Charging with 100amp Service

Just pulled the trigger with Tesla on 12.4kWh PV w/ 2x PW+ and GW 2.0. I have underground 100amp service in NorCal with PG&E. The cost to trench is prohibitive so leaving original service equipment alone. As one might guess, 100amps is adequate but doesn't leave a lot of headroom. My question...
