    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

Seems like the cars Ingenext is using to test the updates are back on the versions with FSD 12. Any of us on the later 2024.8 versions with FSD 11 will need to wait for the versions with v12 to catch up to know for sure if updating will mess anything up.

    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

I have. Cant say if all the features are still working but the increased acceleration works fine still.

Cup holder inserts making cup holders to small?

I bought an insert with smaller flaps instead of the larger round bumps on the inner walls. This helped me be able to fit larger cups in the insert a little better.
  4. L

Cup holder inserts making cup holders to small?

Because certain cups/cans are still loose sitting in the cup holder, and for those ones it helps keep them snug.

Different feeling between 2021 and 2022 MYLR

Something up with the tires? Uneven wear? Out of balance? Maybe start there and then check suspension.

    Wheel spacers and fender rubbing

I mean you don’t have to buy a specific +14 offset wheel to achieve what you’re looking to do. Plenty of wheel companies that make wheels in offsets and widths that would make the wheels sit more flush. But with what you have you shouldn’t have any issues rubbing. I am lowered on H&R springs...

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

I think your calculations might be off a little bit with comparing the new tire’s to the OEM performance tires. The rears are almost identical height and the fronts are only .7” difference but that doesn’t mean it’s lifted .7”.

    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

I installed 2024.2.2.1 a day after it was available and everything is fine. Also to whoever asked about Ingenext confirming if updates are ok to install, the timing is based on when their cars are pushed the updates and they are able to do the testing.

Steering wheel not able to drive straight

It will get worse at some point. Mine started with notchy steering but would sometimes go away. Then then notchy steering was always there and the power steering wouldn’t be available sometimes and it would be very hard to turn the wheel. Then I just would get constant error message stating that...

You can use the current oem lug nuts you have.

Seat belt connector rattle noise, any fix?

I get the same rattle going over harsh bumps when no passengers are in the seat. I’ve been meaning to do something about it but I’ve been procrastinating.

Lugnut question. Gemini to Induction (or vice versa)

Yes you can use the same lug nuts for either wheel.

Tein EnduraPro Plus adjustable shock absorbers fitted

I need to find it again but the last video I saw mentioned that the bump stops didn’t need to be cut and it looked like the dust boot was just held by the bump stop.

How to remove hub caps - 2023 MY

Just grab each spoke with a hand on each side and pull hard. Just work your way around and they will each pop off.

model Y Performance with downsized wheel to increase range?

Can confirm this. I have a ‘23 MYLR that came with the newer 4D1 “performance” motor and have the ghost module installed. I thought I needed range but after driving the car I regretted not just ordering the MYP.
  17. L

model Y Performance with downsized wheel to increase range?

Fronts are both brembo calipers with the MYP calipers just painted red. The rears USED to be brembo on the MYP but now they are the same mando calipers as the LR just painted red with a cover bolted on.

Phone Holder Recommendations for Model Y

I just ordered the MagSafe compatible windshield mount from sp connect. The charging pad barely charges the phone and I wanted it visible on the left side. Wanted the quadlock windshield mount but didn’t want to have to be forced to use their specific case just for the phone to mount to it.

Where to Find Acceleration Boost for 2023 Model Y LR

Are you the primary on the account? Or is your account just an added driver. If you’re not the primary you probably don’t have the permissions to purchase those upgrades.

Where to Find Acceleration Boost for 2023 Model Y LR

Software upgrades should be above accessories. Go into your phone settings and adjust the zoom so everything isn’t as big. The Tesla app probably isn’t optimized for the amount of zoom you’re using on your screen.

Any good alternative for basenor mudflap?

The cheap hard plastic mud flaps are trash. Debris on the highway broke one of mine and a speed bump took the one on the other side. They need to be a nice flexible material unless you don’t drive much.

You’re gonna take a hit on the Y. Bad idea unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket and really want the X.

Performance vs not in a new Y

The MYP has a lower ground clearance than the LR but still a higher seating position than the 3. I like the utility of the Y and the higher seating position so I would never want the 3.

    Replika R264 Wheels - Model Y Fitment / Pics (19" or 20")

I was actually looking into doing that but didn’t want to have to be stuck with adapters on the car if I needed to bring it in for warranty service and have then give me issues because of them.

I got a LR because I thought I needed the range and now regret not just getting the P.

    Replika R264 Wheels - Model Y Fitment / Pics (19" or 20")

OEM arachnids are not compatible with the Y unless you use an adapter to convert the lug pattern. Using the adapter and depending on how wide they are will push the wheel out further and not sure how that would fit in the rear. The fronts would be fine though.

Steering wheel not able to drive straight

One of the tests I did when I started having the issue, and my local service center was giving me a hard time, was to test it with auto steer. With auto steer enabled the issue was not present at all. I tested around curves on the expressway where I would normally feel the issue and it did not...

Tesla model Y 2021 Performance brake upgrade [on a Model Y Standard Range]

Ahh ya that makes sense then. I thought you were trying to just use the harness to use with the brembo rear brakes. I’d like to just use the mando performance caliper also since I don’t like and of the covers and I want to paint my calipers but don’t like the bare look. That’s cool he split the...

Tesla model Y 2021 Performance brake upgrade [on a Model Y Standard Range]

Isn’t that set the ‘23 rear calipers with the normal mando calipers with the covers? I don’t think those ones have a specific “perfomance” model harness as the calipers are the same as the LR just painted with covers. I was wondering if that set sold on eBay because I didn’t see it anymore and...

Be careful with these if you have a ‘23 austin/Berlin build as they have the gen 3 dash trim. All of these aftermarket dash trims so far are for the previous gen dash.

Tesery "Forged Zero G style" wheels seem inexpensive. Not forged?

They probably aren’t fully forged wheels and are just misrepresenting that. The only thing I see about being forged is the hub. They have a Colorado address on their site but all the contact numbers are china.

    CF spoilers: Delaminating inevitable?

Trade 20 induction for 21 turbine+plus cash question

You’d need to get new tires for the M3P wheels since they have a smaller profile than what the Y should have. Or are you guys swapping tires?

    Software version 2023.12 vs 2023.20 (ignoring 2023.26)

Not sure if it’s HW3 dependent since it’s a new fsd beta version it looks like? I have HW3 and this is the version I’m on. https://www.notateslaapp.com/software-updates/version/2023.26.1/release-notes

    Software version 2023.12 vs 2023.20 (ignoring 2023.26)

Might not get the first update for a few weeks. 2023.26 is an update the Y gets. I’m currently on 2023.26.1.
  45. L

What motor does your 2023 Model Y have?

The ghost just makes the car think it’s a P. You don’t get anything different if you had already purchased acceleration boost or not. I think they only ask you that because the module may be configured differently to take into consideration already having boost.

Going crazy about Performance brakes? [Tesla using caliper covers on rear brakes of Y performance after supplier switch]

Not a fan of the aftermarket caliper covers. I prefer OEM parts. Was going to try and source a set of rear calipers from eBay if they popped on there for a decent price. Probably will just end up painting the stock calipers anyways.

Going crazy about Performance brakes? [Tesla using caliper covers on rear brakes of Y performance after supplier switch]

Now that the rear brake calipers are the same mando brand that are on the LR but with caliper covers and paint, has anyone installed the OEM rear from the ‘23 MYP on a LR? Wondering if they are interchangeable or not.
