Reply to that SMS and they will respond fairly quickly. It doesn't reflect on your invoice as I've found out. Each time I did a transfer i go them to confirm the amount (to verify it was them). Transferred the whole amount and got their confirmation there was zero balance.

Good lord. I thought the issues on the new builds have been sorted but clearly not. Is it really a prerequisite that we all go around the car panel by panel still, looking for faults? A bit crazy when you think you're paying 70k+ for a car.

100% your vehicle is not apart of this shipment. Same as mine (ordered prior to you). Possible if cancellations (if there are even MY on this ship) but wouldn't count on it.

I can only imagine those at the X or S price point would be looking at the Mercedes EQS or similar. The 3 or the Y, even in performance models are a step below the X and S. Just my opinion though.

Just seems like such an odd thing to tell potential customers about the colours if it really makes no difference to the lead times or a customer deciding to purchase the car. Strange all round!

The Tesla Rep told me don't order White or Blue, only red or grey if you want it sooner. So sounds like they are either receiving conflicting information or really have no idea at all.

Even if a price drop was given in Australia, how much would they drop, 1-3k? I couldn't see it being as substantial as the US or other markets. Having said that any discount while we wait is better than nothing!

The craziest part is there is probably some intern at Tesla HQ who has this information in a spreadsheet somewhere on their desktop, who knows exactly what ship and when they will arrive in Perth. Little do they know the efforts we are going to, to try and figure it out!

Ah, interesting. Thanks! I was told by a Tesla Rep after my test drive to avoid Blue or White Model Y's as the wait times were significant and to go for an alternate colour. I chose grey so hopefully a shorter wait time.

I'm using a company SOR called West State Electrics. They're authorised Tesla product installers. My old man got them to do his Powerwall and wall charger, was the cheapest price comparative to others. They also quoted me $860 to get the wall charger fully installed. Didn't really look around...
