Bristol PA has a supercharger mostly done. I can't find a single bit of info on here or supercharge.info so if someone can find a duplicate thread please point me to it and/or merge this thread with it. Pedestals and signage are in but they are not live as of tonight.

Cabinets and signage look to all be installed. I'd assume they are missing a meter but I didn't have a chance to look.

I partially assume that PA turnpike commission wouldn't value Tesla chargers at first. But yes, drop in a 16x at a supermarket in King of Prussia (locals++), then e-w turnpike and n-s turnpike (travellers).

That's just how Pennsylvania set's up their toll roads. Always has been.

I charged here today and was the first checkin on plugshare. Glad to see some locals on here have already been testing it. Please get a couple accurate checkins on plugshare until it gets a rating so people know at a glance whether this is a reliable or shoddy pit stop. Thanks.

It certainly seems like all of the physical installation hurdles are done so its mostly going to be a hurry up and wait with peco and township.

Slight correction, but the power feed junction /box/ is installed. I don't think there's any wires going through it yet.

I just drove past again and the ditch witch mole equipment is done and loaded on a trailer. The original contractors are back at the superchargers pulling the main power feed cables to the individual parking spots. If they keep this pace I could see the pedestals installed and wired by next week.

This is the site layout. Ovals are installed bases. The square is the location of the cabinets. If you leave a trailer attached then the southern pull in will block a parking lot travel lane and the northern pull in will block 2-3 superchargers.

Its real! I promise!! :) Looks like they've finished trenching and laying conduit for the first six spots and moved all of the heavy equipment to those completed spots.

Agreed that it would be a better location overall due to more highways nearby and more food/shopping options. I'd wager that somewhere on the power grid there's an expensive bottleneck to deal with and PECO said no. I have no facts to back this up, this is 100% conjecture.

The number of people that live in expensive apartments around King of Prussia is pretty incredible and they keep building more. When you start adding the number of people that work in the area I think its safe to say that a significant percentage of supercharger use will be from locals and...
