Low humming/whining noise near infotainment touchscreen

Thanks for posting that video. My plaid has about the same loudness. I also sat inside a Tesla Model X in the showroom while the service center was diagnosing this noise and it was just as loud. Just have to learn to live with it. 🤷‍♂️

Any Model S Refresh/Plaid owners with the 21” Arachnid wheels regret not going with the 19” Tempests?

Wow, I did not spot the subtle design difference between the winter and summer until you pointed that out! I definitely purchased the summer Tempests wheels. No need for the winter ones down here in SoCal :P

Any Model S Refresh/Plaid owners with the 21” Arachnid wheels regret not going with the 19” Tempests?

Sold my OEM 21s after 1 week owning the Plaid to fellow member @Tman458, who I met in person for the trade (great guy!), and had them swapped with the OEM 19s I bought at a nearby SC for ~$5.5K. Other than the Arachnids looking better than the Tempests, I have no regrets so far. Better ride...

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't realize this issue would build up over time. I've only had mine for a little over a week, so I'll make sure to keep track of this issue.

POLL: vibration felt when slightly accelerating refresh Mode S Plaid or LR

2023 Model S Plaid. I have this vibration as well. It usually only persists a couple of minutes between 38-42mph after you start driving the car, then goes away.

Low humming/whining noise near infotainment touchscreen

Update. I stopped by the Tesla service center in Costa Mesa, CA and they stated this noise was a normal characteristic of the vehicle. Thankfully, it's subtle enough that it's only noticeable while parked with everything else turned off.

Low humming/whining noise near infotainment touchscreen

I'm generally sensitive to even small noises, so immediately picked it up when compared to my dead silent 2019 Tesla Model 3 Performance that had no charging pad once I parked it in the garage. I'll have mobile service or visit a nearby SC to have it checked. Hopefully an easy fan swap if it...

Low humming/whining noise near infotainment touchscreen

Thanks for providing these additional details. After putting my ear near the phone chargers, this small buzzing noise is indeed coming from that area. So is this typical?

    Constant hum

I've created a post that is somewhat similar (here) noise wise though, not from initial observation, to the detrimental battery drain experienced by the OP of this post. Did you happen to remember if your noise was a subtle low humming that was emitted near the 17-inch landscape oriented...

Low humming/whining noise near infotainment touchscreen

I'm an owner of a new 2023 Tesla Model S Plaid, having been a previous owner of a 2019 Tesla Model 3 Performance. I have noticed that there is a low humming/whining noise near the 17-inch landscape orientated infotainment touchscreen that never fails to shut off, even when I reboot the...
