Waiting Room for MYLR/MYP : April 2023 orders

Lucky pup. I place order for pretty much standard MYLR 4/4. Giving estimated delivery date of April - June, then June 1 - June 30, now June - July .. no VINs ect....

    APR 3.99%

I talked to Tesla "Financing" yesterday. For the X and S they do offer the lower rate of 3.99. It sounded like Tesla is directly financing them so they can manipulate the rate from what I gather (could be wrong). The other vehicles (3 / Y's) are sourced to third party partners and get the...

    APR 3.99%

Hummm... definitely will call them today and find out. I will let you know what I find out.

    APR 3.99%

Ah.. That's probably the difference. I'm purchasing the MYLR but still not sure why you would get a better interest rate. Tesla doesn't have their "own" financing arm, they just work with a few third parties that they partner with. For example, you see adds on TV right now for .9% interest...

Can you link to the promotion you're speaking of. I may have to give them a call Monday if there is a lower rate available.

Phantom Drain > 10% Daily After Accident

Just curious, when you say you haven't moved your car in 3 days with only 2% battery loss, are you not connected to your charger when parked or are you away from your home charger or any charger?

Need assistance on installing Tesla Wall charger ver 3

Didn't mean to cause Maham :) Just see a lot of people saying you have to use #4 gauge with a 60 amp.

Need assistance on installing Tesla Wall charger ver 3

Correct. NM should never be used, he said as well. He is installing now and I asked about the #4 vs #6. The #6 THHN cable in PVC conduit meets the requirements for a 60 amp circuit giving the maximum pull of the wall charger with continues duty factored in. I have to believe certified...

Need assistance on installing Tesla Wall charger ver 3

My electrician is using #6 wire as well. Not all 6 gauge is the same. The 6 gauge he is using is actually rated for 75 amp. Since there is a max amp of 48 you times that by 1.25 to compensate for continuous duty load, etc....

What Percent is Your Tesla Charged to While at Home?

Boy, don’t even have my MYLR yet and already have some battery anxiety. Based on everything I read so far it sounds like charging up to 55% for daily driving and not letting it drop below 20%(?) will extend life of calendar aging, which is my biggest concern since I tend to keep vehicles for...

Getting ready to buy my first Tesla... What to know...

I agree. I am starting to have battery anxiety and don't even have the car yet.... maybe not an issue for most people, they'll buy a tesla, and then get rid of it within a few years. I typically hold on to my vehicle for much longer. Heck, I still have my 2003 F250 7.3 Diesel that I bought...

Getting ready to buy my first Tesla... What to know...

am in the same boat… getting ready to purchase my first MYLR but live up in Pacific North West, so weather a bit more mild. Here’s my scenario. Will maybe put 10 miles on a day, some days not drive at all. (Wife and I both work from home now) May put on 100 – 150 miles over the weekend. Tesla...

Car got scratched at the airport

Looking at the picture, it doesn't appear to go all the way into the metal but just the primer under the paint. Most likely you'll be able to buff the majority of the if not all of it out. If you want to tackle it yourself, go talk to someone at an automotive car care place like griot's garage...

Would you move forward with Buying a Tesla?

I’ve been considering an electric vehicle for some time but on the fence. Here is my situation and hesitancy or concerns. Background. We purchased our first Hybrid car back in 2020 (2018 Kia Niro Touring) and get great gas milage. We average about 45 mpg and have a range of 450 – 500 miles on a...
