I can vouch for this. Changed from MY LR on 4/21 to a MYP on 5/3 after the first $250 price hike, and I was locked into the pre-price hike MYP price of $53,990. Granted I haven't taken delivery, but the app and website both show invoice based on my original order date pricing.

That is quite odd that you don't have a VIN yet. I'm in VA/DC-area and have a later 4/21 OD than you but got a VIN assigned on 5/10. The only thing I can think of is perhaps Tesla is prioritizing delivery for long-distance shipments to pump up their Q2 numbers as in-state orders can likely be...

And oddly, I'm being charged the 4/21 price (pre-first $250 price hike) for the 5/3 MYP.

Sorry if my post caused any confusion, but in one of my other posts, I stated that I had an initial order date for a MY LR on 4/21 but swapped to a MYP on 5/3 under the same reservation number. It's likely that Tesla's system saw my 5/3 MYP order as a 4/21 OD.

5/17: Scheduled delivery for 5/26.

To clarify as my other post stated a 5/3 OD, I edited my order on 5/3 from a base MYLR to a MYP, but the reservation stayed the same and based on my relatively quick VIN assignment, it appears it was based on the 4/21 date.

I have a 4/21 OD for the MYP white/Black, same as yours, and I got my VIN assigned on 5/10 with delivery slated for 5/24-5/31. I would bet your VIN gets assigned early next week for a first week of June delivery.

MYP White/Black - No other options OD: 5/3 ODD: May Vin Assigned: 5/10 EDD1: 5/24-5/31 All in all, very satisfied (and pretty lucky) with quick turnaround.

Honestly, I would not go for inventory cars. The chances of it being a rejected car is pretty high (the other option being someone backing out and losing their $250 order fee). And the fact that you'll potentially be driving 150 miles might cause issues for you if you notice a defect once you...
