Oh no... Port Kembla is like a naughty word at the moment. Seems like a black hole where cars go to linger for a month or two. Mine is still there and heading comfortably towards a month on the docks awaiting next steps :(

Depends on the port I believe. For me, unloaded on the 1st May, and after last conversation with Tesla, they said it will most likely be at Port Kembla until the middle of June -- so that's 6 weeks from unloading to potentially receiving a schedule pickup text (they're setting expectations now...

Just "unlucky" is literally what a couple of Tesla reps have told me. There's still a massive backlog at Port Kembla from the 1st of May after the Morning Cherry docked (including mine). To set expectations, you may see a number of later EDD changes over the coming week(s) :(

Hey there -- so, I received my "delivery is approaching" sms/email when my car was unloaded (from the Morning Cherry RoRo) in Port Kembla and awaiting customs clearance (also the same day my RAV entry appeared). It has been sitting in the weather at Port Kembla since ~May 1st.

FYI -- I received my "your Model Y delivery is approaching" text on the 4th of May -- still nothing further from Tesla to schedule pickup. RAV entry was also on the 4th of May. Very :(

Same. Great customer service from Tesla (given this ongoing delivery issue) would be to not only detail the car, but do/offer a ceramic coating. I'm looking at PPF as well (which would have to go on before ceramic coating). I also don't plan on leaving it out by the sea for 3+ weeks (so to me...

That's not great by any means. Your RAV entry is earlier than mine, and much earlier than many others that have picked up their car after the Morning Cherry unloaded on May 1st at Port Kembla. I was just told (over the phone by Tesla) that I was simply unlucky that I was caught up in a queue...

Thanks -- let's hope so. Just seems like luck of the draw in how they manage final delivery. Almost feels like getting a slightly second hand car with it sitting out in the weather for a few weeks.

Update: Woke up this morning and my EDD has changed from 18th May - 8th June to 12th June to 30th June !! Pretty pissed :( It's been sitting out at Port Kembla since the 2nd of May.

Yeah, I don't think they've really worked out the "final mile" that well yet. Some pretty big gaps in the sequence of orders, and those receiving (the exact same spec models). BTW, by EDD has shifted a few times, now May 18th to June 8th (no comms yet on scheduling the pickup :( ) Still...
