Somebody upgrade MCU2 and lost free premium connectivity?

I wonder if I could still get the free premium connectivity even though I don't have free supercharging. Because the website says my car should. So maybe a tech can activate at least that portion again. And yeah I'm not too upset about the charging. I did want it for free but it's still way...

Somebody upgrade MCU2 and lost free premium connectivity?

That's pretty lame seeing as how their website still says any car prior to a certain year should have it. I don't have free supercharging so they probably removed both then I guess. I didn't get it directly from tesla I got it from another owner.

Somebody upgrade MCU2 and lost free premium connectivity?

So I'm confused about this thread. As I just bought a 2014 model s 85 with the tech package and on my software screen it says that my premium connectivity will expire next month and I'll have to renew it.

    Should I be concerned

Read your thread... OUCH! Is this resolved yet or are you still waiting?

    Should I be concerned

I'm trying to gather this data here and in general as well. I'm reluctant to take battery failure reports on this forum as a true indicator of how frequently they do fail. Because it's like looking for how common problems come up with a customer service agent. A customer service agent is...

    Should I be concerned

A list of service would be very nice, I wish tesla would give that info to me with a VIN but they will only give it to the owner. Maybe he'll give me that as you said if I just ask. I'm not too worried about the door handles that I'm fairly certain I can just fix myself. I've seen some videos on...

    Should I be concerned

Yes it does have free unlimited supercharging. One of the main perks for this one. Plus auto pilot, mcu2 upgrade.

    Should I be concerned

Th The one I'm looking at is equipped with autopilot. So it is at least a very late model 2014 when they started manufacturing the 2015s. Does that change your opinion or I guess the more accurate question here would be do you think that means this one is more reliable than others from 2014 due...

    Should I be concerned

As this is a late model 2014 with auto pilot it was being manufactured at the same time as the 2015s. Do you think it is a more reliable choice than other 2014s?

    Should I be concerned

It's at least September or later model as it has the autopilot computer

    Should I be concerned

I have considered that or the drive unit failing. But at the same time I'm just as likely to have something in my combustion car go wrong that I can't afford to pay for and honestly probably more likely because there's so much more that can fail. For instance I had a vehicle radiator suddenly...

Bought used car with AP 1.0 computer but Can't Upgrade/Add-Auto-Pilot

That sucks! I did find one additional thing just recently. If you go to the software tab where you can see that you have autopilot 1.0 computer. It says view addition vehicle information below that and I read at least one thread saying if you select that option it will tell you if it's actually...

    Should I be concerned

Exactly what I have been here and many other places trying to figure it out haha. Thank you for your input. From what I could tell so far it seemed normal and Carfax reports nothing concerning and there don't seem to be any errors or alerts (at least so far as the seller has told me) for it. But...

Bought used car with AP 1.0 computer but Can't Upgrade/Add-Auto-Pilot

As I'm looking into buying a late model 2014 with AP1 hardware I'm interested to know if you ever got this sorted out?

    Should I be concerned

Hello everyone, I'm a a fresh newbie this is my first post. I'm looking at buying a 2014 model s 85 and it has 120,500 miles on it and he says at full charge it says range is 222 miles. Is that normal degradation or should I be concerned?
