New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

Does 35 PSI support the weight?

New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

It’s not it was riding fine before I changed the tires

New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

Already at almost 30K miles drove it cross country so would say it’s pretty broken in.

New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

I’m at 38 now they seem decent enough… next 50k if I haven’t sold the car will def try the hankook
  5. I

New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

Ehhh too late now will play around adjusting PSI to get the comfort as near as it was before and just have to deal with the noise level nothing crazy like when I had A/T on a lifted jeep but still noticeable Not many options at Costco either
  6. I

New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

Lowered it to 38psi livable now, road noise will just have to get used to it. Costco doesn’t offer the hankooks, no discount tire nearby

New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

What’s actually hilarious when I had low PSI in the MX4 like 35 the car felt like it does now total *sugar* felt everything, when I upped it to recommended 42-43 felt amazing. I’m thinking the Tesla shocks might be tuned to very specific settings so if it’s not the right combination your Out of luck

New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

Was thinking maybe once they wear out a bit but could be wrong. What does Costco do in these cases? Will they swap out your tires for free?

New nitrogen filled tires riding very rough

I had the original mx4 michellines or whatever the model number is car was super smooth ride. I just changed all 4 for pilot sports all season at Costco they filled them with nitrogen Now car rides like straight trash I feel every bump it’s very jarring Anyone know if it’s the tires or the...

    120MPGe is it really?…

I mean if it’s true you basically just have 2 gallons of fuel capacity then yeah the car is hitting 100mpg+ and the constant refueling is felt due to the fact you can only fill up to 2 gallons and not 12-16 like other cars
  11. I

    120MPGe is it really?…

I don’t know what rated economy means in this case supposedly MPGe = MPG Are you saying Tesla is really getting 120-150MPG?
  12. I

    120MPGe is it really?…

Basically a 120mpge is the equivalent of what regular car? A 30mpg sedan, 50mpg Prius?
  13. I

    120MPGe is it really?…

Right so what is the real world equivalent of a normally driven model 3? Being that heavy can’t see it achieving real world equivalent numbers of 100mpg+ lol When I see these calculators 200wh/mi is like 300mpg+ like yeah ok… Seems like the Tesla might be a true 30mpg car which isn’t very...
  14. I

    120MPGe is it really?…

Is MPGe a gimmick? Is the model 3 really getting 100+ MPG? I’m finding it hard to believe my rough estimates show it more like 30-50MPG I guess the argument is the cost of electricity say at super chargers. But it seems like I’m charging driving 70-80 miles and it’s time to charge again even...

High mileage model 3 LR battery life expectancy

Wtf did I just read? So you’d rather replace your whole battery for $12-$15K at 100k vs replace a water pump on a 500k Prius?… Electric vs gas cost is irrelevant and the most asinine argument because my electric cost is more than filling up with gas….

Failed driver's seat weight sensor - downsides to ignoring? Repair cost estimate?

I’ve just been dealing with it putting on my seatbelt and if the car stays on I just have to re-open and close the door. How long can I get away with this before the car just stays on permanently and it never shuts down lol?

Is Tesla starting to nickle and dime?

Also is every service center *sugar* when it comes to customer service? Like I can’t talk to anyone, even messaging them in the app they don’t respond at all.
  18. I

Is Tesla starting to nickle and dime?

Seat sensor $11 part $125 to install fine whatever. Then an extra low voltage test for $250 or so…. Like wtf… Every dealer has a diagnostic fee that gets removed if you go ahead with repairs..

Internal docs indicate Tesla to allow salvaged vehicles back on Supercharger network

$1300 NYC area enjoy the pounding, you almost feel gratitude for them basically re-enabling something that was already enabled and functioning properly. Like Tesla can’t tell everything is within operating limits through software.

    FSD getting things right

AI training is just another musk promise yes it will help but it will just create newer problems or it will still mess something life threatening up. I’ve used machine learning countless of times it works until it doesn’t and learns some crazy thing all on its own. If you have proper input...

    FSD getting things right

Got a loaner with it city driving is basically useless with semi traffic, I mean it can drive and figure things out but it takes it’s sweet time, slows down brakes constantly takes up two lanes while it’s trying to figure out what in the actual eff it’s trying to do. Then when it figures it out...

FSD Feedback from my loaner experience

Tried city driving again yeah it’s totally useless it’s like giving a mentally challenged toddler the keys to drive. I mean unless you got time to kill and want to get there in twice the time, potential fender benders and people just cursing honking at you. Would assume works well in lightly...

FSD beta I’m going to test it out next few days. Tested out city feature total disaster in high traffic areas without a lot of activity. I mean it got you there but would I trust it def not, def not ready for prime time it just seemed either to cautious or outright totally confused. It was...

FSD Feedback from my loaner experience

So got a loaner today full self driving….was expecting all my life’s ills to be solved from what members on here have said countless of times… Full self driving was supposedly a better driver than themselves…I guess maybe compared to a really low standard. Yet it’s basically the same just...

How to turn off emergency braking when rolling?

Also to clarify I can drive without the seatbelt if I keep my speed up and brake myself. If I let it roll to a stop (HOLD) it will put it in Park
  37. I

How to turn off emergency braking when rolling?

So after fixing the sensor you can drive with your seat belt off and it doesn’t slam on the brakes? Try just letting the car roll without the seatbelt on does it put it in park?
  38. I

How to turn off emergency braking when rolling?

I am OP go read OP take your meds sir, what are you even talking about? I just said seat belt off never were doors mentioned. You must be confusing this thread for another lol
  39. I

How to turn off emergency braking when rolling?

I mean it’s fine when nobody is in the car I think that’s the intent of these technologies when car rolls away with no one in it. If you’re in the car door closed rolling away auto stop should be disabled. I’d rather have auto stop when I’m about to back into a wall lol
  40. I

How to turn off emergency braking when rolling?

Did you have any errors show up that the seat sensor had failed? I mean my auto pilot works everything works it doesn’t show up red in the seating chart icon, no error messages about failed sensor
  41. I

How to turn off emergency braking when rolling?

No sorry I drive doorless and when I arrive home and back into my driveway I make sure I stop the car fully unbuckle my belt and open the doors fully ajar so they can smash into my garage

Internal docs indicate Tesla to allow salvaged vehicles back on Supercharger network

Also if any techs who work at a SC can get it done DM we can work something out. Like I said been supercharging for 15,000 miles since I got the car… just worried some tech might say some non sense about some random thing.
  43. I

Phantom braking when a car is following you.

Def doesn’t do that at least on basic base autopilot. I’ve had cars behind me and it’s slammed on the brakes. You would think it should do that but nah cause that would be to logical and Tesla
