It's definitely the white interior, that's in short supply. In June Tesla even stopped offering white interior on base Model Y for US and Canada, it's back now for the US but I think Canada still doesn't have it as an option.

All MYLR 7 seats are built in Fremont, it should have "PF" in the VIN. I doubt it's a reject, probably just originally not built to order, Tesla build different configurations in batches to lower production cost, 7 seats are less popular and I always see them in inventory where I am.

You might still be fine. My trade in was supposed to expire on 6/17. But to my surprise on 6/17 I checked the app and found that the expiration date got extended to after my expected delivery of 6/30.

From all the LR VINs I've seen on here and Reddit, it's not clear there is a method for LR 5 seats. LR 7 seats and MYP are coming from Fremont.

Your Fremont made MYLR has HW4, Fremont made switched over to HW4 after ~PF795XXX

On Model Y subreddit there is a post where people can check their VINs. Starting around PA130xxx (produced after June 6th) all the VINs were confirmed to have HW4. Unfortunately the subreddit is currently locked down as protest against Reddit policy so I can't find it for you

Sounds like he just charged you the material cost, 60Amp 240V wires alone would cost hundreds of dollars.

Austin was confirmed to have fully switched over to HW4 somewhere around PA130XXX, you should be safe. But no matrix headlight though, just LED. Although I don't think the headlights matter much.

That was the case before June 4th. Since June 4th it's been confirmed based on VIN data that Austin made Model Ys have switched over to HW4.

There is a Reddit post where people are sharing their VINs. Austin made VINs after 6/04 (around ~PA131) are all turning out to be HW4

Austin made really starts to switch to HW4 around June 2nd (~A130XXX), so yours is likely not HW4. But you could check with Reddit post here:

Fremont's been making all the MYLR7 , so as long as you get a VIN from after 5/25 you should be guaranteed HW4.

You have an Austin build VIN, seeing that you have PA instead of PF. For Austin build 122xxx is actually a pretty recent number, mine was 121xxx built on May 14th.

Lucky you! Most MYLR 5 seats I've seen are from Austin, including mine. I rejected mine and crossing my fingers for a Fremont VIN now.

A lot of Austin made VINs from last week cannot be found in the EPC system, could it also be that Tesla is hiding VIN info for new Austin VINs to avoid people from taking HW3 delivery?

Does anyone know what's going on with Austin made VIN after 5/31? I keep seeing post-5/31 Fremont VINs for Model Y, but I've not seen reports of Austin VINs after 5/31. Is it possible Austin is working to transition to HW4 and that's causing a delay?

Yes for now, Fremont makes all LR 7 seats and Fremont has fully transitioned to HW4. Austin makes most of the LR 5 seats.

Fremont made Ys are all HW4 now, but Fremont and Austin both make Model Y LR. Only Model Y LR 7 seats and MYP are Fremont exclusive.

If you are referring to video by DennisCW his information is inaccurate. I've watched a few videos from him where he talks about rumors as if they are facts, probably trying to be the first one to post video about something and get more attention.

How did you change config to remove tow hitch after you already received the VIN? Did you call you SA? I was told I could only make changes before I get a VIN assigned. I'm also rejected VIN once too.
