    2019.36.1: Stopping Mode

FWIW - Stopping Mode is a significant step-up up in 1-pedal driving over "standard", the previously most aggressive setting. Adjusting to the in-traffic performance of Stopping Mode is a fairly easy adjustment (IMO), adjusting the the molasses effect when parking and navigating < 5mph, will take...

    2019.36.1: Stopping Mode

For me it is a mixed bag. On the one hand, I love it in traffic. Stopping Mode makes 1-pedal driving possible in many more situations, save for emergency stopping, etc. On the other hand when parking, navigating in and out of driveways, and such, the car feels like driving through molasses...

Model S blinking Morse code with headlights when parked?

Happened to me this morning, at least two times while cleaning my S, did not get video but it flashed each headlight at different times. I had the fob in my pocket the entire time. I upgraded to 28.2 yesterday or the day before.

    Backup camera HOT?

My Raven S has been in the garage all night. I went out just now to install a new license bracket, and in removing the old one my finger grazed the back side of the backup camera. I was shocked to feel it hot to the touch (almost a hot cup of coffee hot, I don’t have a laser thermometer and wish...

    “SiriusXM Satellite Radio” sans satellite

No, I get the radio ID listed twice once in slightly larger bolder print above the other. What do others get?

    “SiriusXM Satellite Radio” sans satellite

According to a Sirrus support person, the radio in my Raven S is an OEMX65. Sadly Google told me “Your search - sxm "oemx65" - did not match any documents.” Next, the nice support person mentioned that, “There are few areas as well where siriusxm is not available.” Immediately following up...

    “SiriusXM Satellite Radio” sans satellite

ytwytw and willw64, Thanks for following up… I have no idea if there is an actual satellite radio in my car or not. I suppose I need to contact SXM and ask them based on the radio ID I have in my car whether that is a cellular or satellite model. I assume the antenna in the glass roof is FM at...

    “SiriusXM Satellite Radio” sans satellite

I’d need to double check, but I don’t think there is any art, and sometimes not even song ID (perhaps in poor cellular areas, I’ve not tried to correlate it yet). Better than nothing, especially for live broadcasts (e.g. news), but slacker is better for music in many ways.

    “SiriusXM Satellite Radio” sans satellite

I piked up a Raven S a few weeks ago, and am very happy for the most part. However, I was surprised to find the SXM coverage failing during a cross-country road trip, in the middle of Kansas with nothing near my car to interfere with the “satellite” signal. Returning home, I talked to Tesla...

Not able to connect Tesla's Wifi to home network?

I'm seven months late to this, but in case it will help anyone, there are several ways for a WiFi network to be authenticated. Broadly speaking (with out diving into the technical weeds) you can have: No password / No authentication This means anyone can connect. A password This means...
