Insurance was definitely more expensive for me getting a Tesla versus other cars, got quotes of $160 @ Geico and almost $200 from AAA, got a few others that were over $200. Tesla Insurance offered $130/month, so I went with them. Hopefully my premiums will go down when it comes renewal time...

Yeah, I went again yesterday and it charged way faster, seems to be working fine now. Maybe I just had bad luck the first time on the two chargers I tried. Yesterday's charge was a flawless experience tho.

Happened to charge at this supercharger the other day and it was super slow, left it charging for 30 minutes while I shopped and only gained like 30 miles range. Today I see it has the wrench icon, wonder if something isn't quite working right yet since it just opened.

Ahh, I was a little confused looking at the inventory, seeing base models selling for up to $40,240 (but also as low as $37,000). Does that mean when the existing inventory runs out we might not see any more discounts?

I was thinking about that, but Tesla isn't really the type of company that keeps a huge glut of inventory, since they don't have traditional dealerships. Mostly built to order, correct? So where does the excess inventory come from? According to this inventory tracker there isn't much excess...

I'd do it myself if I had a driveway (and more free time) but as it is I just take it in to a gas station that does touchless car washes.

Haha, I feel that. They apply them so fast and perfectly in the videos but it's never as easy as it looks! It'd be nice if they made them extra big so you could just trim it down with an exacto knife or something.

It showed up the same day for me. Check under specs and warranty at the bottom and it should have unlimited supercharging till XX date listed.
