    Handy Kindle Rest

My Model Y has a built-in place to rest a Kindle Paperwhite that's handy. Here, I'm waiting for something and using it. It fits nicely and is reasonably secure. Plus there's no danger of driving with it.

    Nicest looking rubber floor mats

Just took a look at Tuxmat's site. It appears as if their driver's side mat has its grooves oriented side-side. In another car, by Toyota, the mats did that, and I found that my heels would catch in the grooves just enough that moving from throttle to brake was slightly slower than I felt...

    Premium Connectivity

Quick note to Woggon, in post #19.... The premium connectivity subscription, if purchased with an annual subscription, remains until the current year expires, if the subscriber cancels it. All cancelling does, I believe, is stop the automatic payment for future years. Same thing if it's monthly...

Model 3 - Armrest Hidden Storage Compartment

I bought the Taptes one and won't be installing it. I hadn't seen this thread, should have looked. The thing is one of the poorest-designed pieces of jumk I've ever come across. Hard to believe they think this thing is at all usable.

    Weathertech Windshield Sunshade Review

Now that I have a few days on this, here's what my observations are. 1. Effectiveness - Excellent. It fits well and functions quite well. 2. Ordering experience - Excellent. 3. Set up in the windshield - as you'd expect from something large and long. Not a serious problem but not a 3 second...

Waiting Room for MYLR/MYP: July 2023 Orders

Picked it up from their Express Delivery today. That's where I had to go across town, buy the car and drive it home. It was rush hour. Fortunately a friend suggested that I take a toll road, which I did. It's a fast highway and a very pleasant drive, unlike the crowded public freeway through...

Waiting Room for MYLR/MYP: July 2023 Orders

I now have a VIN and a revised delivery of today (7/23) through July 30. I need to get the check and send them my insurance data. The car is from Fremont, and it does not have ultrasonic sensors, relying on cameras. Fortunately, I didn't order Autopilot nor FSD. I expect to use their...

    Roof rack width and spacing?

I was able to find out some information. The front roof rack is 45.6" wide for the bar and outside to outside is about 53". The rear roof rack is 42,5" for the bar and about 49" outside to outside. They are about 36" apart. This uses data from both the Tesla version and the Tesery version...

    Model Y hitch receiver tolerance.

I wonder if low-friction anti-chafe tape would work? It comes in various thicknesses and widths. One source is McMaster.com: Low-Friction UHMW Tape

    Roof rack width and spacing?

Can anyone tell me the width and the distance apart for the roof rack? I've got a largish kayak and a small one too, and wondered if they'd work with it. Thanks!
