Poll: Do You Plug In Every Day (for daily driving, home charging)?

These tires are the original all-seasons. No idea on the efficiency impact of the wheels, though I suspect it’s not a net positive. Mostly I don’t really care. It’s likely negligible for my daily usage. They’re likely less aero but lighter. They’re slightly narrower than the factory wheels.

Poll: Do You Plug In Every Day (for daily driving, home charging)?

Here's my 2023 MYLR with 19" Martian wheels. I like the look and the fact that they're lighter than the originals. The originals are currently set up with my Vredestein winter tires. I took delivery of this car on December 8, 2022. It's a good, reliable appliance. I think the Model 3 and S are...

Poll: Do You Plug In Every Day (for daily driving, home charging)?

I rarely charge above 50% anymore. I started with the usual 80% and slowly went downwards until about a year ago when I thought there was no point in charging higher. I live in the Chicago area and even in winter a trip to the airport and back (58ish miles round trip) rarely uses more than 25%...

Poll: Do You Plug In Every Day (for daily driving, home charging)?

I plug in whenever I’m home, which is 4-5 days weekly. I work in the airlines and am often gone a few days per week - two to four days occasionally. When at home my charge limit is set to 50%, which is plenty for my daily driving. I rarely get into the 20s% but tomorrow when I return home it’ll...

    1up USA Bike Rack

Late to the party here but my ownership of a 1UPUSA rack is the primary reason I got a Model Y. It’s got the factory trailer hitch receiver, unlike the Model 3, which I would have preferred. I was a bit nervous about it fitting but it’s perfect. I don’t have pics available but it is actually...

    Model Year 2024 Model Y

For the record, I took delivery of my Model Y LR last December 8 and it is labeled as a 2023. I don’t know when the changeover takes place but this information may be useful for the OP.

What do I need for charging on road trips?

This is my experience as well. That said, I have a few adapters, including the campground one as well as a heavy gauge extension cord. I may never need some of these but I did camp with the car this spring and it was useful. I definitely recommend the Mobile Connector that’s now sold as an...

My Two Week Review - Heading towards 300,000 Miles

I am a native Cheesehead and recommend winter wheels and tires. That aside, I also know that living in a cold climate will impact range significantly when the battery is cold soaked. I have Wall Connector installed in my garage in Chicagoland and set my departure time for preconditioning and...
