    Model 3 Charging Issues

It would depend on the car being happy with the higher current. Higher current produces more heat. It may have been cooler when it charged at 6kw at 208v. It's only 28 AMPS but the added heat and higher current, may upset the tesla. lol

    Model 3 Charging Issues

It's a lower voltage, and I assume the tesla doesn't like the lower voltage and it lowers charge rate. 208V (208V is commonly seen in 3 phase Y transformers). I'd bet the other stations have a Delta transformer, and use 240V. I'd guess 220v would be minimum for 6KW. (a lower voltage would need...

What brand and type of nema 14-50 extension cord to get

LOL It's my house, I know it works, and the cable used is oversized, and it's for 600Volts. M3rwd max charge is 32A. More than enough for 40Amp cable. BTW It's the same cable used in fair grounds to power rides, that cars go over daily. Only code violation is I used Cord instead of romex. Yes...

What brand and type of nema 14-50 extension cord to get

There should be no issue using and 8/3 cord on a 14/50 plug. 14/50 plug lets you charge at 7.5 KW max, that's about 32 AMPS at 235V (I'm seeing as much as 33 miles/hr. 8/3 cord is good for 40 amp. It usually has 20+ strands per conductor making very flexible, and depending on the type of...

Can I extend my Nema 14-50 from a different location?

Splitbolt taps are old school. I haven't used them in decades. If you're using it on your home use a Mutiltap terminal. It's cleaner, you only need two, and you can undo them and resuse them in 1 minute any time. BTW Local electric supply should have them cheaper

    myQ

For a new buyer that has to choose between $300 Home link, or an existing MyQ garage door opener it makes sense. $29/ openbox $17, and $45/ year, gets 90% of existing garage door openers to work seamlessly. You can try it free for 30 days, and ditch it, and use existing smartphone to open door...

Can I extend my Nema 14-50 from a different location?

I've been using blue wirenuts on #6 AWG wire for 35 years. Not so much now, but my employees still do. If done right, they will work for ever.

Tesla 3 key card in apple watch wallet

Saw this YT video that went through 3 watch options. Not my video, but pretty good explaining the 3 options.
