Old thread, I know still fun to discuss. Have you seen the completely gutted plaid with stripped panels and no interior? The last run I saw it still couldn’t break 9s, and that’s only a few times better than stock what looks to be a dune buggy of a car.

Maybe I confused the two terms 😊 but autopark requires EAP (enhanced auto pilot) or FSD (full self drive). My original S included all of that with the autopilot that the car came with the car and was later renamed to highway autopilot.

An update to my post: My sister-in-law parks her Plaid on the street outside her house and runs the charging cord across the sidewalk, protected by an Atlas cord ramp. So far so good!

I believe it is the case with all 2023+ Teslas. Do you have EAP or FSD? If so, you should at least have park assist.

So true. It’s still tripping me up. Model S buttons took me a few days to get used to but they are quick and positive. I hope the juniper update gets S-quality buttons not highland’s switches, they don’t feel that great to me, at least on the couple of demos I’ve driven.

That’s a good reason for choosing 19s or even going 18s. More rubber with a higher sidewall height and less wheel to get scratched. Not to mention better range less expensive tires.

It’s not that. On my Model S when I switch from 21 to 19 the range goes up by about 60 km or so. Kind of nice to see that larger number! You can believe if I do 18s on the Y I’ll be choosing 19 (rather than 20) for the tire size to see that 497 km 😃

But wouldn’t the displayed range be closer to the 19 then the 20s? I wanted the 19s but they weren’t available and got stuck with the 20 “upgrade.” I really don’t see that as an upgrade. It indicates something like 460km range. It’s 497km when you set it for 19 inch wheels.

When I picked up my S the other day, they left my blinkers on as well. Made it easy to spot the car, not a big deal really I wouldn’t worry about it.
