All MS and refresh MX beside the old model pre 2021 don't have Lin slave inside the fog light. Pre MX 2021 all use Lin bus and the slave is inside the foglight. I don't know why they changed it in the older MX, but that's the reason you can modified all MS but not older MX.

Don't they have a fuse for protection on communication lin? Btw, the car ride and work normal. My high beam somehow able to select again even without the foglight. With all those pins rearranging back and forth I might shorted both old and refresh foglights for me to test it. Like you said...

Did replacing the front foglight and sensor hardness fix the issue? I have the same problem, exterior turn signal are on but the interior car screen show no blinking and sound.

Damn, my X somehow gave me this error object detected on top of the glass. I see nothing there and have clear or clean everything in sight. Anyone have a clue where i should look?

Reason why it's here too is alot of S wants to convert the new look but non was able to get it done. Since S and X have similarity, knowing that X works confirm that it can be work for the S except S have turn signal in the headlight. I think there's one in the X forum too about this conversion.

Did you able to see if the old board fit into the new fog light housing?

From the look of the old main board comparing to the new foglight, it looks bigger to the new fog. Let me know if you open the new foglight and if there's room, It should be easy to get it to work

Now I have the obstacle detected issue shown in yellow but I can't seem to find anything block it. Door able to close but it make a beep sound that causes the open/close button disable on the door side.

Look at your old bumper vs the refresh, the middle top part are different on the refresh. You will need to cut both top part to weld+glue it back to match the old bumper (mine all in white with glue and weld) . You will see it when you get a hand on both of them.

Sorry guys, they cancel my order because it wasn't compatible. I'm not in a hurry for the rear diffuser. The hard part is both front and rear tow hook cover are hard to come by and they are very expensive compared to $11 for the rear and maybe cheaper for the front from SC.

I was able to order the 2021+ refresh valance ($310), diffuser ($125) and tow hook ($11) from SC for my 2019 MX. But I decline the valance since $310 was too much. Will see if I get any update and the arrival date.

The old model X and refresh used the same foglight plug beside old X have double ground compared to the refresh 1. When plug in, foglight stay on abd connot be turn off inside also there's no turn signal. I've tries your diagram Hotboy408, and also every combinations beside the ground switch...

It might work but I never try it. I got one from offerup for $100 (got lucky). Reason I chose buying the refresh one because it more easy and fast fitment. Using the only one you might need to cut the bottom piece since the refresh already have it and then fitting all the clip to hold the bottom...

Trust me it will work. Doing my way is way cheaper and you don't have to pay a ton of money and times especially tearing the entire front and replacing every parts to all the refresh model, that's ridiculous. And who know with all the refresh parts it might mess up your car and SC probably...

Remember you need to cut the old bumper reinforcement end to fit the foglight and bottom for air duct. Also Tesla will not sell you the parts unless you know a way. Once you included the refresh part number, they will automatically cancel the request.

Those are exactly the part number for all those bracket. I copy exactly from Tesla model X refresh. Sometime when you buy used refresh bumoer, it doesn't come complete. I know the large one around $45 and the 2 small one cost $25 each from Tesla.
