I had this same fear, but now rely on the cameras, I wish they would stay on just a second longer, but I am used to it now.

This seems like a bad idea that will catch up to you. I would only do this for a close family member.

My range anxiety has been removed mostly by the built in trip computer being within 1% of what it predicts for all my longer trips.

Did this trip last week and it was pleasantly easy. Left town in 2023 Model Y with about 85% charge. Drove up I-70 to Edwards with; stopped to charge for about 25 minutes. The roadside super charger had 6 of 8 chargers available. The trip computer said we could make it all the way to Telluride...
