Can't reschedule, there would be costs and also holiday insurance say they don't cover motor vehicle stuff anyway if it happens before the trip.

I'm in the same boat as you, but MK service centre says no to taking it abroad, with me it's France and Spain. Wonder if you would post/ email the letter of authority so I can use it to make the argument to them? Thanks
