I too get this noise. But like you said, it's occasional, and I just reach over and jiggle the belt buckle a few times and it usually subsides enough for it not to be bothersome to me. It hasn't motivated me enough yet to find permanent solutions.

Sounds to me like “checked a bunch of wires and connections, found one with an issue. No idea why. Unplugged and plugged back in and now it’s all working properly again.”

Ahh, sorry that’s a misunderstanding. The ICE car doesn’t get driven much so when I made the initial observations the ICE car had been parked for /days/ at that point. This was just a quip about how I later /also/ noticed that the ICE car puts out a lot of heat after being driven.

Agreed. There's no way the current state of software is capable of parking the car using vision. I think we need another 12-18 months of training data to get it ready.

I believe the factory tint is a dye in the glass rather than a film, so it's not possible to remove.

Take it to a detailing shop. That's not down to the metal, and will buff out with a quality polishing compound.
