Indeed, I suspect it's aimed at local residents without driveways, but there's also a high volume of cars going to Ikea etc, so Tesla and the Eastgate retail park might be targeting those drivers.

Re Tamworth services, apparently both Tesla and Gridserve superchargers are due to be installed by around December or January. I don't have any further details, but it would be great if they can stick to that schedule (not least because it's been "coming soon" for so many years!).

Thanks for that information. Indeed it's been listed on Tesla's Find Us map for a long time and keeps on getting postponed. Sounds like there's a good chance it will happen again, but I didn't know it's been allocated money on the Green Recovery Scheme. Fingers crossed it won't be too long!

Does anyone have any further info on Tamworth? There's a large gap in Superchargers on the M42/M1 between Hopwood Park and Mansfield. Tamworth is around halfway on our regular trip between Bristol and Leeds, and would be the perfect place to stop for us 🙏🤞
