in general i agree, but most of our cars are going to be made the last week of November - first week December. that's not exactly "end of the quarter". also, being the flagship alpha-model it is, i think there will be a purposeful effort to NOT skimp on quality. btw - how do robots know...

i just got my drivers seat replaced because mine was squeaking. wow... the new padding/spring on the current seats is crazy! i'm a good two inches higher in the car and my hair now touches the ceiling. didn't do that before. (i always have the power seat down to the lowest it can go)

no. selecting the Alcantara option does that. i wonder if the new seats have alcantara inserts like the current ones do? i love the new seats, but i wish they had the piping and alcantara inserts. those are both nice touches...

i agree. all three of these things should absolutely be standard. they are not all that "premium". charging $4,500 for it is borderline ridiculous. i ordered it, but i didn't like it. :cursing:

I'm not sure but I think the matte finish is considered more unique/unusual. the gloss finish makes it look like normal car trim. That said I'm getting the carbon fiber because it fits with the nature of the car, IMO...
