    500 mile range? LOL

I'm not attacking Our Cyber Life. Sorry if I wasn't clear. Our Cyber Life on YT are posting their honest experiences and being very transparent, we should all appreciate that. Our Cyber Life has gotten anywhere from 800Wh/mi down to under 400Wh/mi. I 100% believe their experience.

    500 mile range? LOL

Cross-posting this as there's some dude on the other forum who is very negative and IMO suspect. "Our Cyber Life" just posted this morning and it looks like they're currently sitting at 110 mi driven, 41kWh used, 373Wh/mi. They got almost 800Wh/mi on their first trip driving 85mph with the...

Duke Energy off-peak charging - AVOID

Yep, it'll wake up there as well. I've observed this behavior when I'm out, although it doesn't affect me in that circumstance because I generally keep the car awake with sentry mode. It's not a ton of power, but it's not zero, so it's something to consider. If you change your account password...

What Percent is Your Tesla Charged to While at Home?

I don't think you can make that conclusion from the paper in #458. They only tested 10% cycle ranges, they didn't compare them to larger cycle ranges. If anything, I would conclude from that paper that 10-20% > 10-50% > 40-50%. The reason I would place 10-50% over 40-50% is because the average...

What Percent is Your Tesla Charged to While at Home?

This is what he was talking about earlier with lithium plating eventually leading to short circuiting from lots of supercharger use. For most people, even if they supercharge exclusively, they will do it once or twice a week, and from something like 10%-80%. So their average SOC will be low and...

What battery cells are in the 2023 M3 LR?

Yes, I confused lithiation with lithium plating. I'm still learning about the chemistry aspects of batteries. This is all really good information. I've actually been trying to supercharge from 40-80% because of the lower C rate due to the lower power availability of the battery. But I wasn't...

What battery cells are in the 2023 M3 LR?

@AAKEE Do we know anything about supercharging and its effects on degradation? I've read that calendar aging is mostly due to the Solid Electrolyte Interphase (SEI), whereas for supercharging it's mainly due to Lithiation, which explains why they heat the battery for supercharging. I've got...

What battery cells are in the 2023 M3 LR?

Does anyone know if the Model 3 LR in the US is 78.8 with the LG M50 cells? From reading this thread, it sounds like we're sure the MIC LR outside the US is 78.8, but are they slightly lower here in the US?

Duke Energy off-peak charging - AVOID

Just wanted to update this post for anyone who finds it in the future. I just signed up for this program and it still does wake the car every 30 minutes, but *only* during peak times (5am-10am and 6pm to 9pm). So it wakes the car roughly 13 times per day. I'm going to keep it for now.
