Likely typical curb rash around the raised outer rim. Is there a convenient way to grind/polish out the rash, then tape off the polished areas, then reseal - and do this while the tire is still on the wheel? I'm using the damaged wheel as a spare, so it does not have to be perfect.

MYLR was purchased late September. Applied for grant in late October. I did the tax pay and vehicle registration myself.
