OK. So the Endurance team does have veto power on these claims in spite of Xcare giving their approval. Not trying to question Xcare or their integrity but just understanding the process. Have had my share of buying cars and warranties that are no good when you really need them.

I'm about to pull the trigger on the XCARE extended warranty but being dissuaded for the reason that you have to deal with XCare and endurance? Why do I have to deal with Endurance and not have Xcare do it from start to finish?

I think what's referred to as a "button" is actually a latch mechanism that attaches to the tesla adapter. Pressing that signals unlock.

Mine doesn't change speeds as per street speed limits. If I engage TACC and the street speed limit goes down from 55 to 45, my speed still stays at 55. What settings do you have where your car does that?

Simply tinting will not resolve that issue. It may help a little.

Why don't you get tesla service to change the LVB? It costs only $120. I'm sure tesla can do that since it doesn't involve repair that could "blow" up the car.

So you bought the car at an auction with rear panel damage. Then you got it fixed at an independent shop. So independent shops report damage fixes somewhere? I thought the whole purpose to go to an independent shop is so that it's not reported anywhere. Again sorry if I'm not understanding this.

I've never driven a tesla with FSD. So how does it really work? Say I navigate to work. Does it start driving or take control even on unnamed roads? Where would it end? At my office parking lot? I have an idea how it'll work on streets and freeways but I don't know where it'll start and end.

First I'd take it to a SC and see if it charges. Then you can address other things.

I'm a bit confused by your posts. You say that the battery has been dead over a year. Are you saying that you've been towing your car to test a SC or level 2 charger? What is the state of your 12V battery?

On my model 18 M3 I did not have to reboot. Music plays fine and records dsshcam just fine.

I don't think the battery will die. Lithium batteries simply don't die because they're not charged. You may definitely see degradation to some effect. The 12V battery may need to be changed. Isn't there an independent shop that could test it out. By the way how much did you buy this for.

The pedal only. The scroll wheel will change your set speed.

OP, when changing lanes you could increase the speed manually and then the car will go back to its original set speed.

The tire and road combination with the wind direction has a lot to do with overall noise. There are times when my car is nice and relatively quiet and at other times not so much. What somewhat worked for me is lubricating the rubber around the doors and funk and the trunk.
