Phoenix is the code name for this radar project, I think that’s a thing

As far as I can tell it’s an in-house developed radar they been working on to supplement vison for FSD, maybe? Not much is known about it only that it exists in hw4. Some ppl took their x bumper apart and found there was a new radar sitting behind the bumper. No one knows how it works.

I’ll updated this weekend after I pick it up.

It should ship with HW4 and those have a phoenix radar. Not sure why they’re not advertising it.

I got another EDD update today, had one yesterday. EDD1: Oct to Nov EDD2 updated 10/02: Oct 2 to Oct 23 EDD3 updated 10/03: Oct 3 to Oct 23 They’re messing with my head. Why can’t they just leave it alone at EDD2 then give me a VIN whenevers smh

My EDD got updated today from 10/04-11:08 to 10/02-10/23. FSD transfer disappeared from the app.

I had to call them up to have it removed. I found a better rate at a local credit union. BTW Tesla insurance offers GAP insurance, not sure if it’s better/worst than what a bank offers.

It’s a long story but here… When I placed my order for a plaid on 09/02 they matched me with an inventory plaid that matched my exact configured order, so they gave me that VIN. At that time I was moving money around and they couldn’t wait a few days for me to do clear my deposits between banks...

so far my EDD range is the earliest 10/04 to 11/08, I ordered 09/02 from Los Angeles. I’m trying to see if any non-inventory plaid is getting delivered before 09/30 for FSD transfer and it doesn’t look like it. wow.

Mine is 10/4 to 11/8.

It’s supply and demand and they’re trying to make 3rd quarter numbers. On the upside, if you’re ready at 8am they’ll deliver your car by 6pm same day. Happened to me before.

They can put your order on hold for max 14 days. If your loan goes through before then, you click a button on the app that says you’re ready to take delivery, then you go back in queue, though you loose that VIN number.

Economists are forecasting rates to drop starting fall 2024, so there’s that.

FSD transfer from my 2018 model 3. They know my delivery is later than Oct 4 but they didn’t cancel my transfer. I hope that’s not an oversight and that it means they’d still go through the transfer even if it’s after Sept 30.
