That high fidelity park assist doesn’t look helpful. Just give a true 360 view. The high fidelity is similar to what BMW and Audi do where you can see the car in 3D but can see everything else around the car using the cameras which is way better. Maybe in action it will be different. Looks...

Anddddd my VIN showed up last night. PF529xxx. MSLR SG Black Interior 21’s and Yoke. I put it on hold for 2 weeks. 2 weeks after that was yesterday. VIN went from 527xxx to 529xxx. Was really hoping by now it would have been a 2024, but I think I am leaning into taking it vs cancel and reorder...

What is the latest VIN folks are getting. I know 2023 still, but expecting mine in the coming days and want to be on the look out for something off the line vs. a reject. Anyone mind sharing that has received a VIN in the last week?

rear seat latch. They couldn’t fix mine. Gave me all my money back for my 21 MSLR. Now waiting on my new one.

I needed my two week hold 5 days ago and still don’t have a new assigned vehicle so while possible I assume someone else got mine and now I am waiting for a new VIN which hopefully means it will be coming off the line.

That would seem to be the case or they know that it will take a few weeks to sell the 2023 and they can get current value while 2023 is still being delivered vs. a 2023 sold while 2024 is being delivered even if no noticeable difference to be seen. With Tesla, who the hell knows!

How much of that is inventory not spoke for? Seems like much if not all of what they produce is for orders that have come in but then some don’t take delivery for whatever reason.

People are still waiting two months for their order so I feel like even with model S having lower production there is still a backlog of buyers waiting in vehicles that they can just route to someone else.

You can push it back once they reach out to you to schedule delivery. You then get two weeks from that date.

Yes, if you are unable to take delivery they cancel your order and you lose deposit. Unclear if there is then a penalty that prevents you from ordering a new one.

I did the one time hold. They don’t tell you but the VIN is no longer associated with the account now. So I assume they look for the next person in line in SoCal and tell them they have a car ready for them. I guess I will find out in two weeks. Worst case scenario I get the same car but got two...

Please let us know. Mine is ready for tomorrow but I am out of town so I punted it 14 days.

Would you still do the 2 week pause and run the risk of getting a vehicle someone inspected and said “no” to?

I have the same date and same car. In Los Angeles. Hoping this will result in a 2024. It has been getting pushed out one day for the last week since it updated the EDD.

And still not a 2024 VIN to be seen 😢 … Hopefully soon. I ordered in 9/16 and EDD is now 10/16 - 11/6.

I live in Los Angeles and just got rid of my 2021 MS LR refresh and the rock chips in that area in front of the rear tires were brutal. Like very bad in probably a 30 inch by 30 inch area on both sides. I had a black car which probably made it show worse. I had 21” wheels too.
