lol. I believe my statement was "275/35 is a tight fit on 21s" and not that it wouldn't fit. Looks good bro. Like tailored sneakers! Whats the ride like with bags?

Agreed! Leaning towards MPP. 21x265x40 for the front is maxed out in respect to distance to knuckle and fender rubbing. I'm happy with the current setup, pending coilovers.

Thanks @TwoK4drSi. Appreciate the download. I was aware of the changes to height, width and sidewall. But; my offset has not changed from OEM. The 21" with 265x40 and 285x40 gives me more grip, a fuller fit, a better stance and added comfort (40" > 35"). Plus, the loss in range and 0-60 are...

275/35 is a tight fit on 21s. Just clearing the wheel housing.

hmmm looks lowered. I've got 21x265x40 F and 21x285x40 R and I can't close the gap as shown on your Y. I wanted 295s for the rear but wasn't available. 285 is tick stretched.

Agree. She looks like floating on water. lol. I am thinking either (1) MP Comfort Coilovers for Tesla Model Y, (2) Öhlins Road & Track suspension or (3) the Unplugged Performance Luxury Pro Coilovers. Bang for the bucks I like the MP coilovers. Any thoughts and comments on ride quality...

Time to settle things - lowering springs and bump stops

Thanks for the info SDM44. So the Eibach springs are for your white Model Y as pictured? What sizes/spec wheels are you riding on? I ask as I've gone with MYP 21" wheels and spec and with my tire set up my offset is tad negative. No issues with rubbing against fenders? Thanks.

The fitment is maxed out as you can see basis the knuckle vs wheel. I'm a thousand kilometers in with the new set up and ZERO rubbing on harsh roads or lock ups. Its nearly a perfect fit.

Time to settle things - lowering springs and bump stops

Thanks for the info. What do you think about Ohlins? They're DFV suspensions are specially tuned for EVs. I've got 21s" on my Y and not happy with the stance and would like to lower her without compromising the ride quality as much as possible. appreciate your feedback.

Looks great! I've got F: 265x21x40 and R: 285x21x40 on my 2024 MYRWD. I am planning to lower her F: 1.5" and R: 1.0" My wheel set up is same as the MYP OEM 21" (F: 9.5x40 . If I lower her with current rims and tires, will it rub or hit the inner side fender while driving? Looks Great! I've...

Model Y Performance 21" Tires - Larger, More Comfortable Fitment Details and Experience - Michelin AS4's (With Photos)

I’ve recently upgraded my MYRWD set up from oem 19x255x45 to front 21x265x40 and rear 21x285x40. Rims were self designed and produced in China and tires are from Hankook. I’ve experienced zero rubbing and the ride comfort has improved as well. However, i am not thrilled about the stance and...

Model Y Performance 21" Tires - Larger, More Comfortable Fitment Details and Experience - Michelin AS4's (With Photos)

    Really a great review! I've read it like 7 times! LoL Personally, I am not a big fan of Tesla's OEM 21" so I had my wheels produced (21' x F: 9.5/R: 10.5 x F: 40/R: 48) which I plan to wrap with Michelin All Season 4's F: 265 x 40 and R: 295 x 40. I would assume the set up will work for the...

China releases upgraded Model Y (not Juniper)

Hi, is the steering wheel the same as the 2023-22 model Y before the upgrade? If not too much trouble, can you please take picture of the front and side (the steering wheel neck)?

China releases upgraded Model Y (not Juniper)

Good point! Agree on the bigger/additional torque motor and I don't envision any changes to the caliper spec or the wheel width/offset as well. But would love to know for sure, if anyone who took delivery of the upgraded Y can confirm.

China releases upgraded Model Y (not Juniper)

Agree, it also includes Korea and Japan. I actually prefer to wood trim in the interior and thank you for the additional 60-80hp but, I hope the caliper specifications and the wheel width and offsets haven't changed.

China releases upgraded Model Y (not Juniper)

Hi, I reside in South Korea and ordered my Model Y Standard range this year early September. As the new upgraded Y's are being produced and released in China and with zero to no inventories in S. Korea at the time of writing, it is likely 2023 orders which have not been filled will be fulfilled...
