The "system" was the sales manager's computer (he showed me the screen). No idea what program they use. I would ask to speak to the sales manager at your local Tesla service center. That person should be much more knowledgeable than the other "idiots" working there. Good luck

Exactly. It's not like Tesla has that many options to choose from anyway - so no real reason to "custom order". It's easy enough to find one in "Inventory" or "in transit" that's the color and specs you want.

I picked up a M3P, with white interior, at the end of September for $49,360 minus the $500 referral. Including the $500 referral, I got $5,380 off MSRP, by finding an "inventory" car vs ordering. Was the exact specs I was looking for and the car had 12 miles on the odometer. Loving it so far!
