That is crazy that vin is still 2023 going into next year

Picked up the car yesterday. Tesla at its best….no quality control. Brand new car with a loose trim. I accepted it cause everything checked out fine. They gonna do a mobile service and replace this broken trim

I don’t but I know for sure that they are building the PF426 batch right now. I don’t know when they are gonna switch over to 2024. Could be next week could be next month. I don’t care about the model year so I’m keeping it if the car has no defects.

VIN assigned this morning. PF426XXX Est delivery: Dec 2-8 Question: there is a tab on Final Payment(Make your final payment to avoid delay). I’m paying with cashier check from my bank account. Do I just leave that alone or do I have to speak to an SA to let them know that?

Tesla knows that people that ordered the non-tax versions most likely won't cancel their order. so they are giving priority to the Tax edition first. If the tax edition model don't get delivered this year then they gonna have a tons of cancellation.

What if you reject a perfectly well assembled 2023 and ended up with a Mediocre 2024. Please go and inspect the car. If the 2023 is perfect then it will be less of a headache in the long run.

As long there is no major update then I myself don’t care if it is 23 or 24. I’m keeping the car for a long time so it really doesn’t mater but people that only keeping it for 2-3 years then I see why they care so much.

Guys, just noticed they are just listing 18 demo vehicles on tesla website (AZ). I think they are getting rid of 2023 demo and bring in 2024 demo cars. My guess is 2024 is happening very very soon.

i wonder how many of those tesla that needed the battery replaced was a leased vehicle in the past. Most owners that leased their cars dont give a damn. They charged it to 100% often and once lease is up they just return it. shame on them.

last year my brother in law picked up his 2023 Model X on 11/22/22. Car was built on 11/14/22

My guess is no 2024 will be assigned until the beggining of November.
