Final Update: AAA has decided to total and is giving me full value cash for the Tesla.

Just received estimate from Tesla Collision for 40K for repairs. Now waiting for AAA to accept and total the vehicle.

I am supposed to get an estimate this week from Tesla Collision. They did mention the damage is extensive. I am hoping it is enough to get totalled.

I dont have to tow. The Tesla is in AAA posession at Copart. They will need to move it to Tesla Collision on 11/6.

Tesla Collision originally gave me an Nov 27th appointment, they called me today and gave me an earlier appointment on 9th Nov. AAA can only drop off the vehicle between 6th and 9th Nov.

Thanks all looks like I have a fight on my hand. They did waive the $1000 deductible since the other party is 100% at fault. I received the following repair estimate (see attched) from the AAA adjustor. The estimate from Tesla Collision center might be much higher.

@RayK Thanks. Correct I am not asking if the car is totalled. That will be determined by the insurance adjuster. I am just trying to get a fair assesment.
