Tesla Owners, Let's Talk: Touchscreen vs. Physical Buttons - What's Your Take?

Enterprise gave me a Pacifica during a trip I had to take last week. The shifter is on a large dial on the central console. The volume dial is about 2 inches diagonally from the shifter dial. At one point during my drive, I was reaching for the volume and realized I had my hand on the shifter...

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

I was one of the guys that locked in the 3.99% rate. My loan officer told me while I was going through the process that they were getting a ton of requests for them at that time. A lot of lurkers in here apparently.

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

I get that it sucks that the rate went up, but it's still slightly lower than most high yield savings accounts online. Don't waste any more money down than you have to when you can make more in a no-risk savings account that earns you more interest a month than you are paying in interest on the...

Nor did I. Strangely there is $25 in that savings account though. Not sure what they gave me 20 dollars for.

They do the donation for you in your name. You don’t donate anything.

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

I’m still waiting on my MVPA. Somehow you leapfrogged me in this process. Glad the rest went smooth for you. Still surprised how much lower they are than everybody else. The difference in their rate and the default Tesla rate was about 4K in interest on my configuration over 4 years.

    Model Year 2024 Model Y

I ordered one last night hoping I’d get a new factory one as well when there was an exact match within 50 miles of me in Inventory. They assigned me a VIN within 10 minutes of ordering. Weirdly enough, the local one still shows up in Inventory when you look online.

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

They have a 1% rate reduction for new members who request an auto loan in the first 90 days of membership. Down to a floor value which is apparently 3.99%

Looks like just Transunion. Not seeing it on the other two right now.

Can’t apply for loan with Chase

I get that in theory, but in reality it doesn’t much sense to make 5 year plus car loans at rate less than the 5 year and 10 year treasury notes if you’re a bank outside of doing a service to your members. Credit unions exist to serve their members so they can more likely get away with looking...

Can’t apply for loan with Chase

You aren’t likely to get a loan less than 6.5% through chase right now. You’re probably wasting your time pursuing it. With the fed rate at 5.25 - 5.5% range, you aren’t going to see too many sub 5 offers. I don’t know how credit unions are doing it without losing money. As someone else...

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

I can confirm FedChoice is still offering 3.99% rates in November for 72 month loans. I requested funds for entire purchase, including taxes and registration. They did not ask about down payments. Currently waiting on loan officer to finalize, but no extra documentation was requested...
