there's another forum thread on this with updates, it seems all over the place, some people are getting pushed and some people are able to take delivery. (I took delivery on 12/10 at Burbank after my car was cleared)

Also took delivery yesterday! Had an issue with the FWD panel gaps on one side only and they were able to fix that day. Otherwise build quality was good! Another party picking up a model Y wasn’t so lucky :/ they had a huge scratch on their car :(

just got off with CS - they called Burbank directly and they said they were going to keep the containment hold until Monday, BUT Burbank hasn't reached out to me to reschedule, the CS rep also told me that all SC are different, he said San Diego was going to release their containment hold...

put a hold on november 17th, releaesd dec 1st, vin assigned dec 5th

My app finally updated with an EDD today - Dec 5 to Dec 13, a few minutes later got a VIN PF428!

cause I ended up getting a VIN on Nov 16th and told me to take delivery the following week (thanksgiving) and I was out of town

same for me, i actually just released my hold and now my app doesn't even show an EDD - the number I've been texting is absolutely useless and keeps saying I'll get an EDD only after a VIN has been assigned.

You can text the number or call them that you want to do a hold (at most for 2 weeks) it releases you vin though and puts you back in the queue once the hold is over. I believe you’re still at the top of the queue though and will get the next available vin with your build. You can only do the...
