I called the adjuster and for context I asked him for a typical quote to replace the entire Tesla bumper. He said it is about 1k for the part and 2k for the labor and paint. This is way off. I believe he went to visit the shop. He was stammering the entire time during the entire conversation.

Geico was not redacted on the pdf. Yeah, I tried shopping but my premiums have increased drastically still. I am getting quotes around $2k if I get close to bare minimums and around $2500 if it is very similar coverage.

Thanks. Sorry I didn't make it super explicitly clear but you are right. I scraped the tesla left bumper and I shared my insurance with the tesla owner. To me it, the claim was wild and the insurance paid for it. To your earlier point, adjuster said they fought it but "that's what it is"...

Thanks for the explanation. On my driving record, shouldn't the claim amount be recorded as well? That would affect my premiums right? A high claim should indicate higher risk and higher premiums.

How do I contest this? Speaking with them, it sounds like they won't be doing anything.

They paid out and that's all there is. My premiums increased from 1200 to 4000.
