Hey all, re window tinting, what would I be looking at, cost wise, to tiny a model y? Nome of the vendors I've contacted are keen to tell me over the phone, not even ball park!

I'm picking up my MYLR and heading straight for Tint-a-Car at Alexandria. I'll be going for the darkest legal tint. I got the Metallic Grey colour and black rims so am going full gangsta mode! Anyone here had experience, good or bad, with Tint-a-Car?

I was given Feb 13 - Feb 16 to choose from. I naturally picked the 13th!! Ordered my MYLR in July 23!

What was your EDD prior to asking?

I just read the RAV site. Criteria for adding an entry into the RAV database, among other criteria, is "Car is in Australia"... Being in Australian waters must be enough to satisfy that criteria. Urgh...

I called and spoke to a rep at Tesla Chatswood office. He said he wasn't aware of any SYD cars being left on the MC post Port Kembla unload. I still have EDD Feb 1 - 22. His advice was to sit tight and wait for SMS to book delivery date.

I just checked my VIN on RAV - it is showing up. What does that mean? Just saw that some SYD cars were accidentally left on the MC - What an absolute joke! I hope Tesla are better at making cars than transporting them.

What drama? I must have missed an update. I'm in SYD, got the SMS saying the car is in Aus and to wait for delivery date.....what did I miss?

I got one today telling me the car is in Aus and to get ready to receive my delivery, but alas, no date.

Has anyone got experience in this situation? The car will have been fully paid for by the time we are standing next to the thing inspecting it. What would happen then if delivery was rejected by the customer?

Same here. New VIN and EDD. Ordered back in July, so hoping for a later build.

GC should be going in for a re-inspection any day now.

What are the risks associated with all that metal floating on salt water for weeks and months on end? Surely that will eventually have an impact on the likelihood of rust long term?

Same here - and with no comms from Tesla. A simple email would go a long way. Last email was Nov 22, 2.5 weeks ago.

Has anyone spoken to ISS recently? I was hoping to see some movement of GC today. I'm generally at the point of not caring but I occasionally get a burst of activism energy! I tried calling their main line but it rang out. I can see that the Brisbane Office has names and mobile numbers of 10...
