Installed the Alpha Blacks on my cousins 2015 85D. This was wayyy easier than on my 100D. Reason is that the chargeport door is manual, which makes it soo much easier to remove the tail light.

Today i had my set installed. I like the looks of the wheels Went for a square setup with dunlop sp sport maxx gt tires 245/40/20 99Y

Managed to change the order to 9x20 for all 4 so i can go for a square 245/40/20 setup. I want to be able to swap back tires every 5k10k else i needed to go for 265/40/20 on the rear

By the way Dekk24 recommends 10x20 on the rear and 9x20 on the front. But i want a square setup of 245/40/20 should i then get 9x20 also for the rear because 245/40/20 is for max 9.5 inch wide rimms. Or should i do 255/40/20 on the rear? on @XRPOG his pics i cannot see what setup he went for on...

You have a refesh plaid. I have read the 255 will hit the front arches on pre refresh models and it is suggested to go for 245/40/20 on pre refresh and 275/35/20 on the back or 245/40/20 all around. I am considering the last option for my 20 inch set… just wondering if anyone did the 275/35/20...

Great comment, has allot of added value. Remember original, Arachnid Plaid rimms do not fit on regular pre refresh models, so we have no option…

On BMW when coding you have to set options and code them. on VAG you code directly on parameters. but hardware sometimes is not compatible. For instance maybe the autopilot hw has to be at least latest model to be able to send display data to the headlights. to be honest i think all models...

you mean with the new taillights? or the model just before new tail and headlights were introduces? All models with the same taillights 2012 until early 2021 should be compatible. New model 2021 late probably is not compatible due to differences in chargeport etc.
