I like doing this too, keeping Bluetooth off and using NFC instead, holding the phone to the B Pillar to lock/unlock it. This only works for Android phones currently I think. Something about Apple's implementation of NFC make it so that iPhones can't use NFC to lock/unlock on the B pillar.

Yes it seems so. My January DIY install (the module was from eBay) is still working OK after I received 2024.2.7.

The Tesla won't recognize that replacement or throw some error messages. That 12V replacement not only differs in voltage, but also in capacity and charge characteristics. All of these combined will cause the Tesla to not play nice with it.

Another option to buying an "Alt Spare", instead of eBay where they run $120ish+, is to check your local Junk Yard/Pick-n-Pull if you have one close by. My local LKQ Yard has the car inventory listed each day. I searched on Genesis and had a list of the car locations in the Yard (row/space)...

Creep simulates an ICE automatic transmission. Roll simulates an ICE manual transmission. Coming from a stick, I use Roll and would miss it if they took it away from the 2023 and earlier.

I also picked up a new Tesla OEM labeled Homelink unit from eBay. In Mid January I DIY installed, everything worked without issue. Still working OK as of now, I'm on 2023.44.30.8. Hopefully it won't break after the next FW update, if it does, I'll update again.

Hi, I still have not tinted it yet. Have not found a shop or mobile tinted yet. I’m trying to get it done before the spring and summer heat.

Anyone have any updates on this? It's not on the Find Me map and the Twitter link is missing. Hoping it wasn't retracted, a 3rd SC would be great for the 352. Especially on Fall Saturdays when a lot of people roll into town :)

Good call on the Wawa. When you drive by in the Google Car and look at the east side parking area. At the bottom of the power pole next to the current transformer, there's a nice parking strip with ~9 spaces, could be the future stalls. Who knows though, the whole Wawa lot is pretty...
