My delivery is currently scheduled for tomorrow 1/11/24. Do you think it's worth it to try to bump it to Friday or Saturday to see if they are able to sort out the POS tax credit during the next few days? or just take it tomorrow and accept that I'll have to get the credit on my 2025 taxes?

That makes sense, so the 3 day window is for reporting it AFTER the sale, and they are extending that specific window only since the portal doesn't work at this moment (but they expect it to by the 16th?)

Has anyone figured out if Tesla is offering the point of sale tax credit starting in January, or if it will have to wait until we file taxes in 2025 to claim? So far I haven't gotten a conclusive answer and it seems like no one knows either way as of right now.
